Beane failed to recognize Tellers upside and lost patience (after drafting him) and instead switched him for Cody Ford who was a disaster. He then picked Boogie when we could of used a balanced approach and taken Groot but then use your second pick on a guard. Beane is good but not the genius he’s been hyped up to be. We need an interior o line, a true RB, and could use more size at DT because we get mauled by strong rushing teams.

💯 that’s basic football 101. Beane decided to use his capital on DEs and sent out a patch o raft o line with mediocre running backs. His choice failed.

Belichek is laughing himself to death. NE will curb stomp us by 30 with their run game.

The Jags game was the back breaker. This just goes to highlight what would of happened against a real team. We can only hope JA was not a one year wonder or we are screwed at $240 million.

This team is actually a mediocre football team that has regressed slow and steady. The Pittsburgh loss was an omen to things to come. I don’t think we even make the playoffs. Belichek will dismantle this team.

I don’t think anyone can argue that the bad weather doesn’t adversely effect the type of team we have, all economic talk aside. But it’s a moot argument anyways.

Making the playoffs is going to be a tall order now. Outside of the Falcons and Jets we will be underdogs. Hard to believe considering how hyped we were.

McDermotts team is also extremely undisciplined this year.

This. Objectively, Beane failed to address the patch o raft oline and running game adequately. All the top teams we lost to are strong in the trenches. Now that NE is back it’s going to be tough. What’s more disturbing is honestly we are being outcoached a lot this year. McDermott got outcoached by Urban Meyer, Tomlin, Vrabal, and is getting schooled by Reich.

Have you been actually watching? NE is a really good football team and fundamentals are sound. Our o line is one of the worst in the league and we get a penalty every 3rd play. If you are not worried you may be in denial.

From what several fans I’ve talked to say, UPL is a near disaster.

I don’t suspect this will end well unless we have another goalie miracle and we play good in our own end. NY is really talented.

I regularly get lower bowl seats for Florida Panther games for under $40 we go to now and then. $17 or $29 if I lived in Buffalo I’d go. Nothing like a live hockey game.

Utica is in beast mode right now. UPL can’t stop a beach ball. Luckily we have Portillo and Levi in the system. Both playing well. But the hope to bring up UPL next year is not looking good. The Amerks should be better than 8-6.

NE did a masterful job on a one year rebuild. They are not where we are as far as skill players and QB, but in the trenches they are heads and tails better and fundamentally more sound. This is going to be tough.

Getting dominated night in and night out after 10 years of it results in 4000people at the games. Hopefully when everyone comes back in a few months it will be more competitive. I will say Granato is doing a lot with what he has. I’m amazed we won 7 games although we are a shell of what we were the first few weeks once the film was out. This is simply a team devoid of any top end talent, that on every night, all other (save Arizona) teams have. We can do nothing but wait this out and keep our hope on drafting and development.
