Nobody is trading with the Sabres anything significant but picks and some lame prospects in return.

This will be a steamrolling.

There were reports they are hemorrhaging about $30 million a year. If this is the case, they are already a sinking ship. That is just reality unless they can get that arena packed out again. This is the same exact scenario that doomed Hartford, Winnipeg (the first time), Quebec, Arizona, and Atlanta.

The franchise is in serious trouble. They are hemorrhaging money badly and no (elite) player wants to come here. There are no major trades to be made without getting fleeced. With the salary cap going up, things will get worse. I think there is a possibility the team gets sold and moves in the next 5 years or so.

Can’t wait for Lindy’s presser.
