I think it’s been mediocre. Edmonton breezed and outside Toronto-Florida the east wasn’t much better.

Florida has to play like that. Especially in the third which Edmonton has owned all playoffs.

Your record is who you are. The Sabres are the worst organization in sports right now besides maybe the NYJ in the NFL. This is an outlier of everything you could do wrong running a franchise in the worst possible way. Hopefully the new guy will bring some sanity.

Absolutely. It’s a dead franchise. A permanent 80-85 point team for the foreseeable future. First we became a no go for free agents. Now we are hemorrhaging our developed draft picks. Saddest thing I’ve ever seen in sports. What an unprecedented demise of a once beloved franchise.

This franchise killed itself. If half the guys want to leave and we can’t keep our own home grown talent, may as well fold the franchise.

True to an extent, but I don't think we can completely dismiss it. The city you live in has a lot to do with it. Plus, Florida has no state income tax which saves a ton of money.

I live in Panther country. Absolutely amazing how this team has turned around the past several years. They’ve spent a lot of time on the fan experience as well. The arena is in a beautiful area and is very affordable to go to games. We went to a few playoff games last year and the crowd was as passionate as anywhere else. Great time. Ofc they get heat they have no fans but it’s not true. They were just in a ten year period of horrible hockey like we are now… and nobody goes to Buffalo games and it’s a crappy dead arena and fan experience. Going to be quite difficult to turn the Sabres around.

Edmonton has won 5 of 6 periods so far. Seems to be a much better team. Probably wins this series in 6.
