The tank was actually the Hiroshima ending (or whatever was equivalent in the American civil war). The Team Stormcloud vs Kittens and Sunshine wage much further back than the tank.

We let our two year old decide this years costumes. He's going as Dusty the airplane, his brother will be Lightening McQueen, my wife gets Sally and I'm Mater. I'm too cheap/lazy to buy a second costume so even for our adult Halloween party on Friday, I will be dressed up as Mater. Sigh.

It's a late first rounder. In return we got a proven NHL goal scorer. FWIW Hockey Futures graded his probability of success as a D. :lol: Well played good sir. Wow this is very surprising to me. I won't debate you on it and agree that the novelty of the shootout has wore off. But man, 3 on 3 hockey is just so exciting. Breakaways at either end, no worrying about clutching and grabbing. I'm borderline shocked anyone could be opposed to it.

If we're going to overreact to small sample sizes for Kane and Bogo can I do it with the pieces we moved? Myers has 2 assists and is a -5 in 9 games for the Jets this season. On a team with a 5-3-1 record and scoring more than the opposition, nobody would be happy with his +/- rating. We all know Myers flashes of brilliance but we also know where he struggles and at this age I doubt he can correct them at this point. Stafford has had a nice start to the year scoring 5 times and adding 2 assists in 9 games. I still don't give much value in this piece of the trade as he was an expiring UFA and was never going to sign back here anyway. Joel Armia is now in his FIFTH season post draft and has 1 goal and 1 assist in 6 AHL games this year and sits at a -1. He is dangerously close to being a career AHLer at this point. This was/is the season he has to prove he belongs and he has not shown that as of yet. Looking like the odds are more than 50/50 that he may never. Lemieux has 0 points and is a -6 in the 3 games he's played back in Barrie. Best case for him IMO is he may turn into a nice third line player. Worst case? Well we know the history of former 2nd round picks and success in the NHL. The 25th pick in the draft? They don't hit that often. Here is a historical list of the 25th overall picks. Pretty disappointed with the fact Glenn will be returning unless it is a one episode type thing where the above plays out.

I know I'm a little late to the party here but I will be absolutely pissed if either of these scenarios play out. The beauty of the show for me is main characters actually get killed off. In other shows there will be a tense scene but you know the main character obviously gets out of it somehow. Not with this show. It gets to a scene like Glenn was in and you start thinking holy maybe he will die. I love the character but thought it was an excellent surprise killing him off (not a premiere or finale no less). If they cop out now I will be very disappointed.

To me this trade also helped ensure we ended up DFL and secured Jack Eichel rather than Dylan Strome. That's not nothing in my eyes. Also, in the 8 or whatever games we've seen Kane he looks better than anything that was sent the other way IMO.

Not impressed with Karabacek numbers so far. The Q is notoriously a high scoring league. Need him up much closer to PPG. This is a big year for Fasching. Good to see he's turning it on a bit as of late.

I don't care much for Wildcard either but let's not pile on :P :P

170.5 points. I've rarely approached over 120 in this league over the past year and a half. I know it's PPR but damn, I'll take it.

Nice, I'm liking these lines. Love Reinhart's game the past two and you can't be rewarded more than by playing with ROR and Kane. I love the thought of that line. With Reinhart's vision, Kane's shot and ROR possession it looks good on paper.

It's an unreal feeling seeing them move around on the ultrasound screen. Can't imagine having two, that's awesome man. Big congrats to you and the misses! If I can add some advice from my recent experience (as in last night). There are many late night diaper changes so make sure you buy the little outfits with a zipper!! You don't want to be fumbling around with the button ones at 3am during your third diaper change of the night (for you it would be the 6th haha). Those damn buttons never line up either!
