My guess right now is Stamkos is as good as a leaf but who knows. Bob McKenzie said yesterday that the leafs would be a favorite but if he was to bet if Stamkos does not resign in Tampa and it's between Toronto or the rest of the field, he would take the field. I think I would still take Toronto.

I'm surprised how this Stamkos fiasco is playing out. He does seem as good as gone. Atleast Stamkos, Marner and Mathews will create a great rivalry with ROR, Reinhart and Eichel in the near future..... :ph34r:

Wow, that puts into perspective how good he's been. He didn't seem to be quite as dominant last night as normal but he was fine. The color guy was sure pumping his tires. He will start getting league recognition soon if he keeps his play up.

Still early in his career but what a bust he's turning out to be right now. Tampa has hit big on some later round picks to ease the pain but with Stamkos probably leaving after this year and Drouin looking like a bust that is a pretty big setback for the franchise.

My thoughts as well. I dropped his ass in fantasy because he wasn't very good.

With one week to go in the regular season I want to thank everyone for another fun year. I will get this league up and running again next season with a slight rule change which will change the tiebreaker to points for. Congrats on TrueBlue (defending Champion) for locking up the first overall seed and winning the Sabrespace FF President's Trophy. Also, congrats to Bills12Sabres11 and JujuFish for making the playoffs. Best of luck. Hank is sitting at a win and he's in situation. Was just about to post this. Listening to Leaf media everyday and Reilly is the leafs Savior right now. Talking heads saying he has no flaws. Don't watch the leafs enough to know how good he is but the city may burn to the ground if he gets traded.

It's strange how closely we followed Arizona for the last couple of months last year. Always have a soft spot for them after getting screwed over by Edmonton in the lottery. They've got a good young team. I'm looking forward to watching Domi and Duclair against Rhino2. What a line those three formed for Canada at last years WJC. Should be a good game.

I'm not looking for a quick fix. I'm looking to bring in a guy that can play on Eichel's wing for the next 5 years. Not giving up assets for an expiring contract. I'm thinking long term here and that's why Gionta and Matty are not the answer and who can say Baptiste, Bailey or Hudson will be? I'm talking a Patrick Sharp type trade/signing like Chicago made.

I'd like to know what True thinks as well. Go long term rather than bridge deal?
