In exchange they got a 1st, a conditional 4th, and two AHLers (25 and 27 years old), one of whom is a UFA anyway.

What’s better than Galchenyuk? Galchenyuk + Hall! Toronto actually make a move yesterday to open themselves up some more cap space, so I’m pretty sure they are looking to add someone. Plus, this is their time to go for it! Seriously though, it’s impossible to evaluate something like this from the outside. We know hardly anything about what’s going on. If a couple more deals happen and Hall is still sitting here, then I’ll “worry” more.

It was a brutally honest answer. The vulnerability and openness that he showed there came across as very genuine. That’s not easy. It made me feel a little differently about him as a person.

Dahlin, Joki, Thompson, Mitts, Asplund are just unreal. None of them are perfect, but they just look so much better. Dahlin looks like he switched brains with someone. If all that was from following what Krueger said, then he is extremely coachable. Jokiharju looks legit. Mitts looks matured, Asplund looks tenacious. Thompson is actually using his size/length.

It didn’t produce a scoring chance or anything. It was just a unique combination of stick handling and skating. Maybe someone will find a clip of it.
