    It seems to me a deal will come only after the world cup of hockey is over due to the fact he might get hurt. This would suggest a longer deal vs. a shorter deal. any thoughts? Go Sabres!!!

    I would love me some Vesey but, How much will we hate him if or when he signs in Tor or Boston? will it be on the Lucci (spelling?) running over Miller level? ps how fun to type Miller again!

    I disagree, Datsyuk is going to mother Russia so they freed up $$$, Montreal got Weber and Tampa has a great chance to win the cup!

    I'd give the max for 5 yrs. It's the 6th and 7th years that kill the teams that sign them(big name FA). It would also make him more move-able in the future even with the NMC (if he can have some say in where he would be going) but I don't think he signs in Tor or Buff for only 5 years, but we can dream!!! Go GMTM

    You really think McGinn gets 5 Million a season WOW I love me some McGinn but I don't see it! it would be great for him maybe 4 million for the next 2 years (high end$)

    I think McGinn gets Shaw $ around 3.something I would give him that for 2 years and put him back with ROR until our young wingers are ready and we need to sign our young guns to new deals I don't see someone giving McGinn more than what Shaw got, but you never know

    He is a nice player (I like him alot) but as u put it he is totally replaceable anyone could play with towes (spelling?) or Kane again I would have loved to draft him, but not trade for and then sign him. with the exception of Vasey no big free agent signings please!!!! He is a little better than McGinn who I love, but not for $3-4 million They are great for around $2 million total team players that make cup teams win, but again u need to draft them or get them on the cheap!

    Let me start with I'm a big Kane fan, but I think Kane should be on the 3rd line like Kassels in Pitt a 3rd line with Kane, Foligno, and larson could be great... Kane will score 20 on any line. Get Foligno to start crashing the net and let Larson clean up! Put Girgensons with ROR and also use them as your 1st PK unit. I think Vesey would be a huge signing for us for the future (even bigger than Stamkos) due to the size of contract (it scares me) ps my wife says size matters!!!

    I like this trade we get a top 4 tough D-man who hits and will drop the gloves for someone who can't clear the front of the net. Kulikov is who took out J. Benn last year and we also get a better prospect go GMTM ps he is also left handed

    I think it is a good pick. Always draft BPA. Also if your Vesey its another high end offensive talent to play with for years to come!

    1st off... Kane will be fine. 2nd off... most or all of the sabres #s are down (stats r 4 losers!) DB needs to play Kane with players who go to the net and throw pucks to the net...oh wait we don't have many Kane is a force that other team fear and plan ahead for. if or when the sabres make the playoffs Kane is the type of player that plays well when the going gets tough...See the jets fans comments from last year ps did I mention Kane will be fine! pps Go Sabres, keep bring in real "Hockey" players to Buffalo

    I agree the sabres seem to do better when they get the puck in deep and go after it, although they did just score some goals they seem to try to be a puck possession type of team and not a get it deep and go bang 'em type
