Not a bad game all things considered. The no look pass by skinner was something. Mitts pulling the puck out of the double team on the wall was slick then the pass to victor fo the goal. They are definitely playing pretty good against playoff teams.

I don't get some posters who aren't willing to pay for a good goalie or want to rely on " hoping" our yong goalies can step up. This strategy will get us exactly what we got this season. We have to upgrade the goalie duo and be willing to pay for it if we want the playoffs. You get what you pay for.

Absolutely we can win It all without one super star. I think we are two forwards and a good goalie tandem from competing for the playoffs. This should be relatively easy to get done in the off season. For the love of Pete I hope KA can pull it off. I think another year for growth and these guys can make a run for the cup.

I voted yes only if they upgrade goaltending. Pretty much every one here mentioned goaltending as being one of the things that would have to be fixed to make the playoffs. Hopefully KA has this as a top priority as well. I'm a little concerned though. He's had a couple of years to fix this and hasn't done it yet. For me this is his last chance. He's done a lot of good things but if he doesn't fix goaltending in this off season he should be fired. It's been a glaring hole in our team for way to long IMHO.

Really... That's sad. Goaltending is by far our most pressing need. I really would like to know what their plan for goaltending is for next season.

Another great game. This game showcased the importance of good goaltending. When you get it you generally win, when you don't you generally lose. Management had better get this right next season. Anderson, Toker is not the future to win playoff games. We must have a good goalie duo if we want a great next season.

Wow a 19 page GameDay thread. Haven't seen that in a while. Great game sure wish it had been on center ice so I could have recorded it and saved it to watch again sometime later on. Great to see krebs and tuch with goals. Anderson with 300 wins. His post game interview was great as well. Wants to help the kids

If they will play with the same tenacity as they did last game they have a good shot at the win. Also if they would play this way the rest of the season I think we could win half the games to finish out the season.

Ok, I know I'm beating the same old drum, but is Anderson to old to play two games in a row with a day between or what. This game easily could have gone to overtime or even a loss for us if it hadn't been for Dahlia's empty net save when Tokarski was out in left field. Despite all that it was a very fun game to watch.

Absolutely. IMHO Consistently letting in soft goals is death to a team. Eventually they will give up. You are not going to win many games if you have to score 4-5 goals every game.

I am fed up with management. Is Anderson reinjured. I haven't heard that if he is. Granato said it is Anderson's net when healthy. So why is tokarski playing. He let in two soft goals and then we wonder why we can't win games. We have ten goalies and the obvious best goalie we have isn't even playing. So frustrating.🙄

I hope UPL messes up KA's tank. Amazing what good goaltending does for a team. This young team needs to taste some victory's to survive. We may not make the playoffs and that's fine with me. Just play good hockey and don't quit on games, because that's what happens when you have a goalie you don't trust. It has been fun to watch hockey again the last few games. Keep it up.

I have always hated this offside overturning a goal thing. Dahlin's offside had NO effect on the goal whatsoever. Every team gets stung by this rule every year and I would wager that 99% of the time the offsides has zero effect on the goal. It slows down the game and negatively changes momentum over something that had no effect on the goal. Yet countless goals are overturned by this. As to the 1% only allow challenges if a goal is scored in the first 20 seconds after entering the zone. Anything over that and an offsides really won't affect a goal. It's not like the refs are missing offsides by 10 feet or something that could change an outcome.

He just needs to be moved to wing, he'll be fine
