I think trading both mistake. Unless Jack and Rhino are dead set against being here I want them both. They are not our problems, at least on ice, and that's been a problem with this team trading the good players and keepng mediocre or misfitted players. We need depth quality to fill out not tear dowm. I know we disagree on this but we've done what you're suggesting and results were not good. Upgrade our goal position first.

Sorry but I think you're looking at Eichel as the victim and ignoring that the organization has multi million dollar investment in his health and ability to play a rough sport. Eichel could have handled this behind closed doors without the drama and attention getting manner he used. I love Jack as a player and my desire is for him to be healthy and remain a Sabre. I have doubts about his desire to be here and suspicions on his going public with this.

Congratulations. That's quite an achievement. I think she is a smart women and have no reason to question her motives for her marriage. I don't likevthe way the franchise has operated under the Pegulas but it has nothing to do with her gender or integrity. I think you and I agree on the franchise but disagree on how we express our displeasure.

Taylor has a supporting cast that allows him to play his game and under good coaching as well which he didn't have here under RK.

Well we could say that Josh Allen is to the Bills what Jack is to the Sabres. I think Beane and McDermott are working closely together and see the team as a whole and are building it with pieces to support Allen on offense. Defense works same way. I agree that gutting went too far although with a larger staff we still were terrible. So now we're being terrible with less overhead. We have to hope Adams and Karmanos and the coach can resemble the Bills management team. Terry/Kim let them do their thing and hopefully do it well.

Have a feeling that's not going to happen. I'm hoping they will trip into a leadership like they seem to have with the Bills.

I also have been with the Sabres since inception and I'm frustrated by the overall franchises lost direction. I also believe as I hear you imply that the makeup of this team is needing an adjustment. Not sure as much in the " core" as in the overall depth. You need a mix of talents not building with just this or that. That's why when the term identity is used I'm not sure what some mean. That's why the good organizations have a vision of the "team" play and the pieces that compliment each other to create a team not just a collection of individuals with talent.

I think it's the development. He has tremendous skill and with proper coaches and adjusting his game to the NHL he can be a top defenceman. But he has to be able to use his natural skills and not be coached to be something he's not. No way is he a bust.

I would agree to an extent but off season moves on ice and coaching could give it a bump. Wins are only way to sustain that.
