How much is he worth right now? Twenty cents on the dollar? I'd trade Kane and next year's first for Juolevi though. You are rid of the guy and also open up cap space while getting a really good blue chip LHD.

Myers plays pretty soft and isn't the smartest player but pretty good offensively. If you put Buff's smarts and mean streak on Myers,...watch out. I doubt that his game improves a lot as he ages but he IS still relatively young. Third best RHD we have but they play Trouba on the left side so Myers gets 2nd pairing time. I'd trade Myers for an equal LHD. I'd trade Staf because he will stall Armia's and Dano's, etc... progress. It will be hard to replace his goals but in two or three years, I think the investment in youth will pay off. Forgot, I read somewhere that Kasdorf signed a two way?

Well, if you guys are right, Staf will have an excellent year as this is the last year of his contract. I hope he is moved but probably won't be until the TD. We need the younger guys to get the ice time.

His short lived career with the Sabres is over. He will never play another game for the Sabres and they are better for it.

Kaner is a beast on the ice. I like how he plays the game. He should learn a few more tricks in the O zone but he isn't paid to be a playmaker. It's his off ice stuff that doesn't jive with building a cohesive team. Make a deal with Vegas that says we leave him unprotected and we give you a 2nd rounder for 3 players we tell you to draft and a 2nd rounder. Staf isn't lazy on the ice, just in certain zones.

You just get sized up for that jersey man, it's coming. I'd much rather let the young players see how Staf is as a pro than Kaner every day of the week. Kaner could take some lessons from Staf in that regard.

Why a stinker? You aren't happy with Bogo either? Staf scored his 2nd highest total of his career, Myers has played at least as well as Bogo and Armia showed that he belongs. We also have Lemieux and Roslovic coming up....no stinker on this end in my opinion. I would like to see Staf traded before TC to open up a spot for a youngster but I doubt management trades away his goals. I am okay with Myers even if he plays too soft for this team and I am okay with Armia as well. I hear good things about Roslovic and I will withold judgement on Lemieux until he plays some games for the Moose of Jets....I have seen things I don't like about his character but maybe it is his youth.

Larsson is a better D man than Fowler but no way would I give up Hall for him. RNH maybe and Eberle in a heartbeat.....rumors about Hall's character but they are just rumors. Rumor also has it the effin Bruins are going to give Trouba an offer sheet that will cost them the next four 1st round draft picks...if that is true, Trouba will be a Bruin. The only team I hate more than the Oilers is the Bruins. A million first rounders and can't scrape themselves off of the basement floor? I think Chia got fleeced but Larsson is a better D man than he is given credit.

Not in Winnipeg....there were rumors he dashed and dined at a popular restaurant but I'd find that REALLY hard to believe and it would surprise me if he wasn't a really generous tipper. Most of the stuff about Kaner here was about missing or being late for meetings and not adhering to the dress code and locker room stuff. He has a hate on for Ladd and Wheeler and they were two of the leaders of the team back then. I'd like to know what he thinks of Buff because everyone says that whether he wears a letter or not, he controls the room. Murray should trade him to Vegas to open up some roon for Stamkos. Leave him unprotected and get Vegas to draft a couple of players you want and next year's 1st or something and trade them to you for next to nothing. This trade seems to be boiling down to two D men that haven't reached their potential and probably never will and Kane who will probably never reach his potential. These guys could all be first line/pairing players but they aren't. Staf is Staf but he is taking up a roster spot here. Most everyone says Armia will never hit his potential either and will be a 3rd or 4th liner and he has way more talent than a 4th liner. Lemieux brings that edge to his game and isn't a small player but on a good team, he should be a very good 4th or borderline 3rd line winger. Kasdorf and Roslovic are left and who knows what will happen with them...especially the goalie. Everyone likes to talk highly of their prospects but how many turn out? London traded for Roslovic's rights so he might reunited with Tkachuk on the Knights. I honestly think that both teams are better off than they were before the trade but I'd love to have Bogo back if he learned to play LHD. I'd love to see Armia on a lone with so me top end players. Laine Little Armia or Connor Scheifele Armia or something.

Kaner is Kaner and he likes the nightlife....I doubt very much he choked a girl out....I also think he is a non-drinker.....he needs to hire a bodyguard to keep away from him that want to make a name for themselves when he goes out...... As far as his dedication to playing when he was in the Peg, you couldn't ask any more of him....he played as hurt as the docs would let him and is a warrior on the ice.....but, if he was a cancer in the room, I am glad he is gone and I really don't think he will finish his contract in a Sabres' uni.
