Why all the crying about Sobotka?? He has as many points in March as Skinner and Reinhart combined. Yes I'm being very sarcastical.
-
I was in the he'll be back club until the Colorado game. If we continue that play until the end of the year, he's gone. It looked like the team just plain and simply quit on him.
-
Sheary--ERod--Nylander Now that's a big and heavy line to contend with!!! And we blame the defense for their shortcomings???
-
We bought Okposo at 28, that didn't turn out so well considering we have 4 more full years of him. Are we really going to go that route again?? I'm not sure we want to go that way until we are really able to compete at a higher level.

You guys need to form a duet,,,, Here's a song for you, should be a hit with your ilk "Oh Boterill had a team EE Aay EE Aay ooooh And on his team he had some suck EE Aay EE Aay ooooh With a suck suck here and a suck suck there, here a suck, there a suck everywhere a suck suck Oh Boterill had a team EE Aay EE Aay ooooooooooooooh" That's what you sound like most of the time, add something to the discussion or just sit back and sing.

He's making 7.5M AAV now, why would he sign for less as a UFA??

Jake McCabe done for the year...UBI 5-6 week recovery

He should change his name to McBogo Just trying to schedule some work for the bunker boys..... -
I think the better question is Why TF is that line out on the ice in the last minute of the period. It's stupid crap like this that makes me think PH has gotta go.

Is it time to reconsider Reinhart at 2C and put Casey at 3C?? I wouldn't have thought so last year or even at the beginning of this year but he's improved so much that I wonder if the right move is that and try to find some wingers which would most likely be easier and less expensive in price and assets to do than finding a 2C.

I thought that shot was deflected in also, must have been a Pen D

Official:Trade Brandon Montour to Buffalo for 1st and Guhle
jsb replied to Brawndo's topic in The Aud Club
Not to say you're wrong but if you look at the stats for the past few games, you will see Bogosian and McCabe have basically an equal amount of 5v5 or more than Risto. Risto gets the most TOI because of his time on the PP, not necessarily because he's playing against the best of the other teams lineup. -
Yes I agree but he was still playing more than sitting for the most part. He really sat afterward.
-
I realize I'm late to the party but my hate for the Leafs is starting to really fester about now. LETS GO BUFFALO
-
I thought he was much better than last year. He appeared to go directly to the doghouse with his trade me comments. Look at it as they picked up 3.4 million dollar contract and they got rid of 2.4 although Nathan will be a RFA after this season. JBott the salary cap wizard.
-
I beg to differ, David Pastrnak would be the pick
-
See how many were on passes and how many ricocheted off of opposing players first while on the PP.
-
I wouldn't trade Risto either but the biggest issue I have with him is he obviously went to the Josh Gorges school of passing the puck, ping... 3 feet behind the guy, ping.... into the guys skates, ping..... 5 feet in front of the guy for an icing call. The guy kills more breakouts than a prison guard.

I know he didn't score yesterday but I thought he might have been the best player on the ice. He was flying back on D and was playing a heavy game. I really like the way he has taken charge since he's had his own line. I just hope we haven't jinxed him with all this praise lately.
