After watching them both, for the first time these two back to back, I come to realize that the reason I was going to vote for the OT goal was based on the emotion from RJ during his call and not the play itself. The Detroit goal is a goal that only a hand full of players in the world during their prime could ever make, the play-by-play call didn't do it justice. I voted Detroit, with the sound off.

To extended on that, I'm sure he would need to run by any large trade deals that include large contracts and star players. I'm sure Terry and Kim would like to know if Jack or Sam are on the trading block, and give some sort of blessing for him to even accept offers. That's who I'm thinking too.

Everyone know's who there boss is, but the owner has an open door policy and will sit with anyone and try to resolve a problem. They are also very inclusive along with being open to their lead company people, the coach and GM.

To acknowledge when you have done something wrong is not easy to admit for just about anyone. Then, to try and fix it requires a lot of courage and self determination. Pegula screwed up and basically owned up to it. Sounds human, and a half decent one at that, if what he told John Warrow is all true.

We have to be one of the few teams that when cycling the puck the forwards butts are facing the goalie. Hard to generate scoring chances that way.

Sounds totally PC doesn't it? He may not be the greatest speaker in the world but he knows not cast boulders into the calm pool where his pay check emerges from.

I may be a little misleading, I put the blame of the teams play on coaching. Playing as hard as you can and knowing/feeling you are the better team but losing leads to great frustration for the player and for the coach, something has to give and I don't think it's on the players to *try harder*. I got to listen to the Kane *fight*. I don't believe a punch was thrown, but it sure sounded like a frustration fight on Kane's part from RJ's description. To me that's two very frustrated players that vented in different ways but for the same reason, they don't believe they are playing a game that plays to their strengths. I'm not sure, but I believe you put more of the ownness on the players for the losing, right?

If the players believe they are leaving their hearts on the ice and are frustrated, there has to be a large measure of coaching being the problem. Can't tell me he felt the better team won.
