  1. Chicago was bad for 10 years prior to your run that you have pointed out. Very bad. Their minor system was stocked with high end draft picks long before Kane and Toews arrived. Apples and oranges. I don't like to use the Jack injury excuse for losses. It was more bad coaching to me . Injuries happen. But..... Sunday was a totally acceptable loss. They hung for the 1st period and just had no legs because of one of the worst scheduling debacles the NHL has ever done to a team. The last game was a back to back games on a run of 11 in 18 days. Chicago was fresh and rested. The Sabres had no chance.
  2. Sabres success has been predicated on 3 defining factors. Score on the PP. Very hot goaltender. Before Sunday I believe Lehnet's stats were 99 saves on 103 shots. Giving up 35 plus shots on goal per game. I personally don't believe this winning formula is substainable. Jack is also fourth in the league at drawing penalties. (.41 per game)
  3. Cool. I like him.
  4. Don't have all that extra material acting like a net. I hope shoulder pads/sweaters are next. Just a little change. Just like the pants.
  5. Gomez was drunk when he posted it?
  6. I'll second that. We are 3rd/4th line center rich and 2nd pairing d short. Minni is the opposite.
  7. I always think of Slap Shot and what threw the goalie off his game. Most N American goalies would get it and laugh, not so sure for the European.
  8. It's official. I hate all car commercials. Wow, Winnibeg! 3 unanswered goals against the Pens.
  9. I couldn't remember his name, but thought the exact same thing!
  10. Crush their spirit, late period goal Sabres.
  11. I like that we are spending the first period in the AV's zone. You have blacked out a season for the blue and gold. The healing process is strong with this one.
  12. The kid in the back ground was funny. But he had Nolan, so it's not Grant's fault.
  13. Not sure that the PP goal was even due to Lehners temper. He didn't get the call or leave a man open in the slot. But, if we know that's what coaches are telling their team, so does he. I believe the same as you JJ, he's been engaged and on his game. Still love to know whats going on with his rebound control.
  14. aren't you just being a *wild thing* :P
  15. Same. If I could get decent internet service I would love to try other ways. But I'm stuck being blackmailed by DirecTV.
  16. Burrows bowling balled Lehner, that led to the scrum, then enter Falk. Or am I getting the times that Burrows was trying to get under Lehners skin mixed up?
  17. I'm going with the win-win. I like happy endings.
  18. Whoopsie!
  19. Sing it in your best Ton Loc... I like little pants and I can not lie...... More goals, good.
  20. Body slamming him wasn't Burrows intention. Bumping, stick work, verbal jabs get him off his game. Players around the league are being coached this in preparation for Lehner. Lehner is young and will mature. He also needs the help from his teammates to do what needs done to make sure it happens a lot less.
  21. So, if I'm reading your tea leaves correctly, Lindy will be back?
  22. I agree whole heartily.
