Bailey in that shift had 2 very nice shots on goal.

Its near to impossible to do. Its high risk low reward. I won't disagree that it's stupid, but it's done to often with distinct effort to not think he's being coached to do it. Is there another goalie that kicks at the puck like him and tries to shoot out rebounds like that?

I still think he's coached to do that. Redirect shots to specific areas. It is high risk low reward game planning. The stiff pads and distintict kicking motion trying to punt the puck to an area are the reason I say this. He's doing what is asked of him to the best of his abilities.

Yah. Or when things start getting nasty, you stick him out there.

Lehner isn't perfect, but he is the only reason where still in this. If he keeps his cool, we have a chance to win.

I like Falk. He's the d man you hate to have to play against.

My guess is.. He goes to bed at night surrounded by lots of critters than would kill you , and a a few plants, just cause they can.

Marty Biron was on WGR today. He interviewed Burrows right after the game. My summation of what Marty said.... **Burrows was just doing what his coach told him to do, get under Lehners skin. Mind f*** him. Burrows did his job. The book is out on Lehner.** Could be a scene in a slap shot movie.

Could it be we got out coached? Eichel played his mind out to beat Boston and came unglued when he lost. Yet Boston is worse than us at 5 on 5 hockey. How did we get swept?

This is an example of good coaching.

I think we abandon the system and go full Ted Nolan. Just play, with some structure of course, at full speed and instinctively.

Last comment I heard on WGR this morning. ***************************************** Can GMTM fire Blysma any time soon? They reasoned that GMTM can not. It will look like a few players got the coach fired and a GM cannot allow players to dictate who they want/get for coach. Players need to play the system to the best of their abilities and let the coach hang himself. ******************************************* To me, that's the wrong way to look at this situation. First, we are not dealing with the top coaching echelon here. Second, our coach is repeating his coaching history on another team. Third, the players that can make change should. There are only 4-5 of them that know they will be heard and not cut or traded, they have to voice there concerns through their play. It appears the locker room has been fractured since at least Jack's tirade. Lehner's interview has brought our suspicions to the public eye. The good news is, we get to see what kind of GM we have.

Yes. He did better with the same (being gracious ) talent in Boston. Edit, Boston does not have the talent we do.

Paul Hamilton on WGR. GMTM has some detective work to do. If the young core is not on board with this coach, it's trade players or get a new coach. It will be interesting to see how this all shakes out. Paul did not say who he thinks is not on board with DD, but he has to know. If we get a new coach, it ends well for me.????
