  1. I'm not going to insult an AHL hire. Shrugs. Welcome to Chaos Nation.

    So #8

Lundell or Raymond (First round) okay with Rossi, Quinn, Holtz, Perfetti If available Gunler (Second round), Grans Still firmly in this camp. I'm warmed up to Rossi, and watched a lot more tape. However, I'm still high on Lundell. He's what this team needs and it fits a high-end two way player. Advanced stats are in his favor too.

I agree with you Eleven. I just don't know if there is that type of player available for #8 and assets that we have. Our talent cupboard is all either "not A level prospects" or already in the NHL. If you can get Hertl, or Monahan, I'd do it immediately. I would take Hertl over Cirelli any day. He probably costs less too than Cirelli.

Horvat is unlikely available, Monahan seems less and less likely available and we're going to trade too much for Cirelli for what he's actually proven to be at this point. Barkov definitely is not available.

If Lundell is the least exciting pick to you, for me it's Sanderson and it's not even close. If we take him 8th overall, which is easily 10 spots too early, I will lose my mind. Rossi is not falling, he's this years Cole Caufield (who slipped to what 7th). I prefer of this list: Lundell, Raymond, Perfetti, Askarov, Quinn, Jarvis, Hotlz.
  6. Hoping for Minnesota.
  7. They have somewhat stable goal tending, quality leadership (Weber), and the right mix of veteran to youth.
  8. That's fine, but adding more players that have major holes in their games, with absorbent salaries is not the way to go. I'm all for making huge changes, but Domi / Drouin are not the changes worth making. Domi was less than stellar after his breakout first season, and really I just don't get why so many people are interested in him. Going after Hertl on the other hand, who is a stellar two way player, draws in the face off circle well, has been to the playoffs multiple times, and can score. IS WORTH GOING AFTER. Differentiating, the right quality over quantity is the problem with this ***** storm of a team.
  9. Gross. Drouin has been abysmal for the past three years. I wouldn't take him for anything other than Okposo. Reinhart is better than him. Domi is also VASTLY overrated. Yes he's offensively gifted, but he's a terrible away from puck player with no defensive upside. He'd fit this team perfectly from that aspect. I'm not interested in taking Montreal's trash.
  10. That would be interesting for sure. I'm not against anyone other than Boston, Toronto and Montreal ?
  11. Really rooting for Arizona and Vancouver. In the east, Columbus, I suppose.
  12. That is what I said.
  13. So would I, or Brady lol
  14. I watched the hit on Scheifele and it was he, who turned away from it early and caused the injury. Tkachuk, didn't perpetrate the incident, in my opinion. But who knows.
  15. We haven't at this time of year for 9 years. Welcome to Buffalo, the usual norm. Watching other teams play well, while our players are golfing or in this case "Social distancing".
  16. Pricing himself out of Chicago. Come to Buffalo, please! Czech, that box.
  17. I would expect so. Keeping their model in tune, at least for the next few seasons to say the least.
  18. John Chayka out as GM of Arizona. He took a non-hockey related job, it looks like after he was given permission to interview with said venture.
  19. So basically the best options n here in my opinion are Rakell, Kapanen, Virtanen, Kerfoot. However, I do not see a deal with Toronto happening unless they are that severely cap strapped. I for one have little interest in much of the rest: See: Kessel, Bjugstad (hasn't been the same since his injuries in Florida), Stepan (unless the ask is super cheap), or Leddy.
  20. I look forward to the added element for next season. So who's the early bet on who we'll lose?
  21. I think it will be fun. Either way, at least there will be a new aspect for hockey to look at next year. Potentially one more player to get rid of off of this roster. Bai, Colin Miller ?
  22. It makes perfect sense to me. I am a Canucks secondary fan otherwise, I'd start rooting for them. Either way, the expansion draft will be fun. Leave Skinner exposed ? - not likely due to a no trade.
  23. One question Wook, why on earth Darren Helm?
  24. Johnson's value continues to fall each season. He's at the age 30 season, and even at 5M, I'd rather go another route entirely. Just give me draft capital and then move on from there.
  25. Puke on the return for Ristolainen. Again, what has Miles Wood ever done to show that he's much more than Vesey. PASS! Why are we trading Casey and Sam for a slightly better swedish version of Sam. He's more of a facilitating wing. Are we giving up Mittelstadt with him, for the AAV on his contract?
