There were a few prospects walking around canal side this morning. No clue who they were but they were wearing shirts with nhl combine and numbers on them.

If this were football we would have info every 10 seconds. But it's hockey so the contract was probably signed with whatever team 3 days ago and a reporter just got the courage up to start asking questions.

I had duffs for dinner last night. I ordered them hot. I was expecting a bowl of chicken wing soup but they came with just enough sauce and were crispy all the way through the meal, usually the last few become soggy. I was pleasantly surprised. I went to Gabriel's gate 2 years ago and I thought the wings were bad, like I should have gone to anchor bar bad(anchor bar sucks). But I heard a lot of people say they were good so I gave them two more chances a few months later and they disappointed both times not to mention very long wait times when there were only a couple other people at the bar(kind of understandable with the tiny kitchen but still). grilled wings are awesome

I am gonna watch the series once more then save it for a while so It doesn't get old (I don't think it's possible, but not worth the risk). Lol. lol. I was skeptical until I saw McDavids face. I know how this sounds but just repeating what they said to us.

My brother and I sat next to a family that is friends with McDavids family at a few sabres games and they said the only team he didn't want to go to was edmonton. Really wanted to stay near his home and buffalo was at the top of his list.

Talked to a guy at a few sabres games that knows McDavids family and he said the only team in the NHL that he doesn't want to go to is Edmonton.

Lmao because I feel prospects should get their feet wet in the AHL first I have a warped understanding of hockey. Where did I say that they absolutely 100% no way around it have to play in the minors no matter what their skill set? Oh wait I didnt... I said I prefer that they do, that doesn't mean they have to and are going to. Everybody is wired different some kids can play right away most cannot. McDavid and Eichel are probably 2 that can make the jump. It's just my opinion that patience with developing players is better than throwing them into the fire. I dont like situations like the grigorenko fiasco. You may have a different opinion and that's cool.

I would have no problem with any player(McDavid included) going back to juniors, college or ahl. I would like every player to get at least a season in the minors before coming to the big league. IMO that is the best way to develop talent. Patience is key. I want Reinhart in Rochester next year.

I'd like to get in on that if they are.
