Hutton isn’t under contract. There are plenty of good goaltenders who are free agents.

He’s a 13th forward. Even on next years Sabres roster, if he’s anything more than a 13th forward we are cellar dwellers again.

I had no idea so many posters had eyes on Bjork for so long to already write him off.

Just imagine how great our third line will be when we put out Tage, R2, Mitts, Asplund, Olofsson, and Bjork at the same time. Nobody is going to be able to stop that.

Curtis Lazar is a 13th forward on a playoff team. Bjork has been a bottom six forward on a playoff team. Hall takes his roster spot and Lazar is scratched for the rest of the season until someone goes down. Yeah, I would have liked a first for Hall. But people value our players way more than they should.

There is no reason to not claim him. I’m not holding my breath on it though.

You really believe we are one player away? In the absolute best-case, everything pans out scenario we have: Skinner (maybe)-Eichel-Reinhart gaping hole-Cozens (maybe)-gaping hole Asplund-Mitts-Tage Girgs-small hole-small hole Lazar I’d much sooner bump a third line winger down to the forth so Olofsson can play on the third line than move any of that third line or Victor up to the second. Like I said, it’s great we look better but we have a ways to go. We have one win against a team slated to make the playoffs and that was back in January.

The optimism lately reminds me a great deal of the optimism from the beginning of the season with a more or less unchanged roster. We are still not a playoff team. If the ATM line is our solution to a third line and Cozens can play 2C next season competently, we are still missing 33% of a top-6 and bottom-6, and 100% of a goalie tandem, with work still to be done on the defense. It’s great we are looking better, but we have a long way to go.

So easily bypassable?

But I’ve been told for two years now that Victor Olofsson can’t play RW even though he’s all shot and there’s more space to shoot on your opposite wing. What is Granato doing?! Does he even read the board?

The only way drafting isn’t our biggest issue is if the bigger issue is development.

Got my second shot yesterday at 8am. Felt fine until around midnight when I woke up with vomiting, nausea, cold sweats and a fever. Starting to feel better now but still not doing great. The vaccines side-effects have been significantly worse than when I had Covid.

I also wanted Chychrun, I really didn’t know much about Sergachev and was really disappointed after how Chychrun started. Didn’t know he was playing well but glad he’s found it. I got to see him quite a few times in the OHL and it was always a treat.

I’m only saying this because some stupid rangers article popped up in my recommendeds about then trading for Eichel. If for whatever stupid reason trade Eichel and we don’t get Fox, Kakko/Lafrenière, and Strome/Zuccs+ for him I would be pissed. I want nothing to do with trading Eichel to the Rangers. Kings or bust, and that’s only if it’s got their big three prospects and Bjornföt. I’m leaning less towards trading him with our improved play, but he’s yet to step on the ice since it happened and any Eichel trade needs to happen after he’s skated under Granato anyway and who knows what that’ll bring.

I have literally never considered your last two sentences because I never imagined we would be here 6 years later, but I now think we never should have made the trade to begin with.

I’ve heard if he switches to a seafoam green crayon for their breakfast and abstains from eating any off-brands for the next two meals, the symptoms clear up right away. Hope he feels better soon.
