  1. Wow, just heard. Glad to see him go and I hope Kim Pegula is up to the task.
  2. I'm on board with this. All hail Rasmus Allen.
  3. Go Cavs, I say halfheartedly as someone that doesn't care much about basketball.
  4. It's been 31 years since we last drafted #1 and there are 31 teams in the league. Fitting.
  5. When I was a little boy, my aunt used to tell me all the best people are born in April. Happy belated/right on time/early birthday, best people.
  6. It's more like: Buffalo: 59.6774% Montreal: 30.6452% Carolina: 9.6774% Think of it like the Monty Hall problem. The "doors" that have been "opened" are teams that have been revealed, increasing the chances proportionally for the remaining teams.
  7. I don't think anyone really believes it's fixed. It's just a way to let off steam.
  8. More like 3 wasted picks and Cordy Glenn. And concerns aren't just with his accuracy.
  9. CB Taron Johnson. Another pick that won't help the offense. So we take the biggest risk QB of the draft, and we're pretty much stacking the entire deck against his chances of success.
  10. Pro Football Focus says Phillips graded as the best run-stopping tackle in the entire draft last year. Cool.
  11. This guy looks great, but did we really need a DT? So many holes on the offense.
  12. I'm just as upset as the next guy about the Allen pick, but do we really need to make a thread like this about it? Or is this going to be the negativity thread so we can keep it out of the main Bills thread? That might not be a bad idea.
  13. A friend of mine who doesn't follow college football at all made sure to point out to me that the Patriots drafted a guy named I. Wynn.
  14. Still livid about this pick.
  15. And yet when the game was on the line, he ran the ball even more often late in games rather than putting it in Allen's hands. Actions speak louder than words.
  16. He threw more short passes than Mayfield, Rosen, or Darnold. Complain about dropped passes? His receivers dropped 4.8% of his throws, significantly better than 7.4% for Mayfield and 7.7% for Rosen. Never seen Mayfield, Rosen, Darnold, Jackson, Rudolph, White, Lauletta, McCarron, Peterman, or EJ Manuel play, have you? And I didn't copy and paste a tweet by anyone, since I don't use Twitter.
  17. In 2016, he had NFL-caliber players around him and still ranked 101 out of 133 QBs in PFF's adjusted completion percentage. By Football Outsiders' QBASE formula, he has a negative QBASE. The best, best, QB ever with a negative QBASE is Josh McCown or Brian Greise. He was more off target than DeShone Kizer's final season. Against the blitz, the other top-6 QBs all had ratings over 100. Allen had a 73.4. 30% of his pass attempts were within 5 yards of the line of scrimmage, a higher rate than Mayfield, Rosen, or Darnold, debunking the myth that the system he played in negatively affected his stats.
  18. Already making excuses for Allen.
  19. Not a fan of the Edmunds pick, but at least I don't despise it with every fiber of my being like the Allen pick.
  20. Nathan Peterman has a better chance at becoming Brady than this guy has at becoming a franchise QB.
  21. Considering how wrong you are about the first sentence, don't be surprised when you're wrong about your third sentence.
  22. McCarron should feel pretty good right now.
  23. Josh Allen. this to hell. I'm out. Browns, I'm moving my sports misery over to you.
  24. Josh Allen at 12 is not a best case scenario. Josh Allen at 187 is not acceptable. I'd rather bring back EJ Manuel.
