  1. He’s already been mentioned a few times but I don’t know much about him. Are we sure there isn’t a creek between his and Risto‘s value?
  2. Pavel Zacha could be a buy low option. Yegor Sharangovich is another name but we’d probably have to add.
  3. 😂 But also that Vegas deal is a little intriguing
  4. I am not engaged in the Wood conversation.
  5. The people who are pushing back against the sentiment in the original post are well-aware of Pegula’s meddling and failure. This just isn’t an example of it.
  6. I despise this question. Nobody is in that room so nobody knows. The conversation is about the team being interested in Risto so fans are zoning in on players they would want to get from New Jersey in such a deal. It’s not about why they would trade Wood but what fans think it should take to get Risto.
  7. This is how I feel generally but I also would note to just look as Vegas before we rule out Seattle.
  8. Yes, I could imagine this.
  9. That is absolutely correct but there is still room for improvement all over the ice.
  10. I wish he were right handed so bad because he's UFA and I've always loved his game.
  11. I don’t think this is accurate. I think the defense needs a shakeup (as does every position on the ice if Jack/Samson are indeed leaving) but the improvement doesn’t have to come at a Dougie Hamilton cost.
  12. Thankfully we’ve got good posters that can pick up my slack lol
  13. I think every single GM meets with their owner when they’re going through the coach hiring process.
  14. I considered diving a bit deeper and doing cap space and other factors but I ran out of time.
  15. I wouldn’t even check Risto’s interest in re-signing. Let’s move on there.
  16. Appears not. I doubt he was interested.
  17. No *****. It was an obvious oversight. I’ve lost a step.
  18. What is the point of anything we do on here, Curt?
  19. Not particularly. I don’t remember the players being all that fond of him and he doesn’t have a high track record of success. The team found more success when he left and they even lost their best player in that span. Because the Sens denied the request does that mean the request was to interview him for an assistant position?
  20. The pre-Jack era was dominated by plans to land Jack and the team built around him. Now, we’re heading toward the post-Jack era where the focus becomes what we’re left with. Take it from there.
  21. Again, I’m really good at braining. I changed directions on who I did and did not want to consider a few times which is why I half removed Grigorenko but I fully removed him now. Those other names were never really prospects worth noting. A guy like Olofsson I didn’t really include pre-Jack because we didn’t really know much about him or consider him a legit prospect at that point. Tried focusing on guys that are frequently in conversations among the sane. Decent chance a guy or two in our current prospect pool could be a guy three/four years from now that we never thought would sniff the NHL makes their way toward the roster.
  22. I’m really good at braining.
  23. If that is accurate is tears away a large percentage of the tiny bit of faith I had.
  24. If they put Lafreniere on the table (probably won't) then you send him to the Rangers.
