  1. I wouldn't give so much snark if the way other posters treated me wasn't obvious and consistent. My shtick might get old but quite frankly it doesn't matter how much I follow the "rules" around here and be on my best behavior. Im sure it's paranoia on my part at times, but it's for good reasons. Several posters have openly given the opportunity to address me in a fresh way and "give me a chance" to post in a more friendly manner. A few have been satisfied and no longer hound me as they used to. But for other the second there's a comment that is remotely mild in manner the wolves come out to play. Then -- right in line -- freeman pounces. Sorry Freeman, but your moderating is bad. Eleven, D4rk and several other posters I thoroughly enjoy say things miles worse than anything I say when you decide to publicly call me out... And what they say is STILL fine and welcome on the boards, in my opinion. There's even a name for it in one case (Angry Eleven). The difference is you think I'm young and can still be molded to fit your preferences while they've been around here a while and simply aren't going to change. They don't have to. And neither do I (in cases like this, I say much worse which is ACTUALLY uncalled for and childish). Saying "Sure. What's your point?" does not need to be moderated. You need to chill, dude.
  2. I'm feeling chill. Thank you for your concern. Wouldn't that be something, huh? Moderating the language of one or a few but not others because the way you feel about them is totally a good way of doing things. It's also hilarious that somebody would feel comfortable whining about having to be "politically correct" but then wanting to eliminate any form of disagreement or argument from an individual's side. It's almost impressive. Mostly lame, though.
  3. By all means. I haven't been over there so I don't know how stuff works there.
  4. Sure. Your point?
  5. Right. It's an opinion so it's hard to disprove. But calling it hyperbole is way off because I didn't intend it as such. Nor is it an unreasonable statement. I was referring to the entire Patriots history under Belichick as their "game plan." I can see how you would read it a different way, though. Correct. But the idea behind a great game plan is to put one in place your pieces can execute. A game plan isn't good if you don't have the pieces to execute.
  6. So who has a better game plan than the team who is universally praised for their week-to-week game plan? The idea that the Patriots (specifically Belichick and Brady) have the best game plan in history isn't a new or novel idea. Several feel the same. I know you guys have this hate crush on me, but you can try harder than just calling something wrong without putting any effort on your own side to disprove it.
  7. Slapped it up on Reddit, Twitter, here, Facebook, TBD... Anybody have ideas as to where else it can go?
  8. I don't feel that's hyperbole. The Patriots are the best gameplanning team in history, in my opinion. From the coach down to the QB they just do it better than everybody else. Whether it's all within the guidelines of the rules is another story.
  9. Agreed. I love a more unifying look for a city. If only the Pens would fully adopt their old yellow/gold instead of their current one.
  10. I've just always called them and heard others refer to them as the same. Either way the point is clear. Also - adidas isn't capitalized. It's a proper noun so it SHOULD be, but the company uses lower case letters when they represent themselves.
  11. Here's the petition, please sign away! https://www.change.org/p/russ-brandon-pegulas-bring-back-the-royal-buffalo-sabres?recruiter=58981812&utm_source=share_petition&utm_medium=facebook&utm_campaign=share_for_starters_page&utm_term=des-lg-no_src-no_msg (Apologize in advance for any typos/mistakes. Put this together at 2 am quick. Let me know if there are any changes I should make or if that's a good look).
  12. That's a good way of phrasing it. Their defense got lazy. They didn't intentionally think "let's coast it" but they weren't nearly as strong down the road.
  13. I was pretty annoyed at first with all this... But then I realized I was being a hypocrite. I feel players should do with their appearance whatever they want to make them feel the best in order to succeed, so if he wants to roll with this number then I feel that's completely okay now. #41 grew on me kind of. Almost want to get one just for the nostalgia someday. I suspect he'll be 15 when the roster is finalized and not a minute before.
  14. Yes, I can seriously dispute your recollection of the end of the game. The Patriots offense did not take the foot off the gas (I specifically remember John Murphy questioning when they would start running the ball with less than 12 minutes to go). They were passing deep into the fourth. And they didn't secure the game with a score with ease. They didn't secure the game AT ALL. The Bills got the ball back with 1:15 to go and just one possession separating them. I agree completely with the sentiment that they looked brutal yesterday. The score wasn't reflective of the way the game went, but they did somehow make it a game at the end. The Bills shouldn't dwell on that one too much. They met the best game plan in NFL history on a few extra days of preparation in Week 2. The hype didn't match the circumstances, so we're all a little loopy right now.
  15. Tannehill has been the only universal positive for the Fins so far. It'd be nice if he missed this week so we could just relax and watch an easy win. Not that Tannehill is ever very good against our defense, but it'd still give more peace of mind.
  16. Avs reveal the jersey for their Stadium Series game this year: http://avalanche.nhl.com/club/news.htm?id=779906 https://twitter.com/Avalanche/status/646014063802101760 I love 'em. The large numbers are fine with me for the Stadium Series stuff since the TV angles are a bit off and the play-by-play guys probably need them. Great look. The number on the collar is the number of feet in a mile which is kind of lame, though.
  17. I would doubt it. If wearing a condom during sex is enough to prevent any DNA from being left behind I would imagine a hand wouldn't be enough (there's still a ton of skin contact outside of the condom). But saliva on her neck would make sense. And under her fingernails? That's not a good sign.
  18. PFT numbers today say that Tyrod was pressured on 50% of drop backs. Brady was pressured on 16% of his.
  19. Falling into the end zone wouldn't matter. It would be wherever he was when he began the fall (which was the two-yard line and not the one as they spotted it).
  20. Still a joke? Shocking!
  21. Yes. GTFO with this trash. And here's the source of what Webster said: http://sabres.buffalonews.com/2015/09/19/dna-test-results-spur-questions-in-kane-case/
  22. According to the Internet Crosby and Ovechkin weren't in NHL 06 until roster updates were put in. A Reddit thread said he finished the final roster update as an 87 and was a 91 in NHL 07's release. Most said he was a mid/low 80s player when first added. So probably right in the McDavid range.
  23. Give me some time. I'm on a mini "staycation."
  24. Someone on Twitter said it best: I'm sure Apple is confident you should buy Apple products. (This has probably been addressed, my bad if so)
