Never been to the Baseball Hall but I'm considering it. I don't love baseball the way I used to, but I love Vlad.

I disagree. I saw somebody say "he deserved better." Why? You either are a Hall of Famer or you aren't, and Edmonds isn't. Great player but not quite a Hall of Famer. Brian Giles is on a similar platform. Not a Hall of Famer either. My favorite player ever is up next season - Vlad Guerrero. Can't wait.

They do because they get the center and are loaded on defense. If I'm Columbus it's hard to do that deal without at least a good forward prospect coming back.

Agree across the board. I have just seen the false statistics on executive orders used by Obama on social media so much in the last 24 hours that it was immediately on the brain. The substance is certainly important, but the numbers are supportive of an argument that he's operating within his powers but still at a rate much lower than those before him. I am happy to have had Obama as my president for these eight years.

Also possible, but if we keep Reinhart around I'm keeping him as a RW. Matthews and Eichel are absolutely elite talents that you want dominating the puck when they're on the ice.

The first time Edmonton drafted a player near the caliber of Eichel or Matthews as prospects was last year when they got McDavid. We'd have two of them. Getting Matthews opens up plenty of possibilities, the main being dealing Reinhart for an elite young defender.

Moulson, Ennis, Foligno, Girgensons, Gionta, Gorges, Bogosian, Risto, Weber, Larsson and Deslauriers all played roles during last season. That's over half the team still around. It's not a comparison, at all. It's about the fact that this team still has a lot of players from a talentless team around. There's four guys in that group that should have any role here long term. It'll take the full season to gel and then an entire offseason together will be big. I'm excited based on the first 40 games, not discouraged. And CERTAINLY not thinking about DDB being fired...

Holy people... It hasn't even been half a season. We were the most historically talentless team in league history for two straight years.
