I don't think I would say it's a lot or rare. It's noticeable. I believe he actually referred to somebody on the Jets as either Lindqvist or Hornqvist at one point (they don't have anybody by either name). Again, I'm not saying it's unbearable. It is. It's just noticeable and not something he was doing before even half as much as he does now.

I've never heard Rick get players mixed up as much as he does now. I don't want to drive behind this point too much because I love Rick and am fine with him sticking around until he's ready to leave the booth. But JAGs sitting around saying "have you ever sat up in the 300s? It's hard" means nothing. We're not paid handsomely to know who does what on the ice.

Have you ever listened to Rick Jeanneret? Literally ever? Rick Jeanneret taught me a ton of what I know about hockey and know a lot of people who would say the same. He's a minimalist only in the way he requires his broadcast agency to pay a color guy a minimum salary because he talks so much. I love Rick. I run a Facebook fan page for him. I have talked to his wife on several occasions. He's why I want to go into sports broadcast. But I think you're description is mostly off. And I think he's just about to his end.

That's worse than Wookie. If you don't feel like clicking on a hockeybuzz article he suggests Franson and Moulson for Brock Nelson and Michael Dal Colle. Franson and Moulson wouldn't net either of those players, let alone both.
