MetLife is $1.6B and isn’t a dome but it also has 20K more seats and is a mediocre stadium at best so … meh.
-
I’d imagine no acquiring team will have their top pick.

Cam Lewis was abysmal in games. Johnson* wasn’t cut, he was traded. Hollister will be re-signed. I wish people would find a new joke. They made this one several years ago in Carolina and it was made every time a white backup QB looked good behind Cam.

I believe this same TSN reporter is one who reported earlier this offseason a Jack trade was close which was clearly wrong so take that for what it is.
-
Belichick seemed pretty pissed at Cam when he had to isolate because of a COVID exposure.

The Sabres, Eichel, NHL and NHLPA had a meeting regarding Jack

As an asthmatic I fear this is the road I’m heading for -
He‘s already top 10 in passing yards, touchdowns, completions and completion percentage. He’ll likely finish top 5 in several of those. He’s a lock. So your dark horses are … five of the top eight betting favorites. Bold picks.

Matt Ryan is a Hall of Famer so 🤷

That camp could be an interesting wrinkle. -
During the last ten games (not counting week 17 because he played one drive) of 2019 he had 2,000 yards, 15 passing TDs, 2 INTs, 350 rushing yards, 6 rushing TDs and went 6-4. Over a full season that’s now 36 total TDs, 4,000 total yards. So you’re assuming that he reverts to a place worse than where he was two years ago prior to the significant jump he made last year, even with all the added experience and another entire offseason?

He does indeed but Jack simply is not all that appealing of an asset right now. It appears offers are few and far between and none of them are all that meaningful. If that is indeed true it’s very clear Jack simply doesn’t have the value we all wish he did. I think the messaging from the Sabres and Jack’s former agents did a lot to deteriorate that and I’m hoping it can be remedied by new representation for the player. But right now his value is Jack Sh!t. It will likely take a fully healthy and high-performing #9 to get his value to the true Jack Eichel. -
I like how we’ve gotten this far into Nill’s trolling and nobody has pointed out that Allen was very good down the stretch two years ago when fans were in the stands. Nill’s dumb argument has already been disproven.

There’s a Sabres reporter for Hockeybuzz too but I don’t know his name

Leagues make changes all the time to keep up with adjusted desires as times and generations change. The NFL and NBA have done it. The NHL and MLB are trying but aren’t quite there.

Sens fans have universally said that guy knows nothing. Don’t give it your time.

I’m a fan, not the GM. He does not have as good of a hand as you think he does. -

To be fair, I definitely jumped in that line at one point when I thought we’d get a monstrous return. Then I “got smart.” Now I just want it over. -
The entire industry recognizes the need for change. It’s being surpassed by basketball (college and pro) and is continuing to lose viewership. Adding personality to the game of baseball is the best thing to happen to the game in a long time.

I still do not understand how anyone can look at the situation this team has found itself in with one of its best players ever and think “wow, this franchise and its management is growing on me.” The only explanation is blind fandom.
