How a police encounter with anybody of any race should go:
-
They were something like 19-8 without Ramos this year. Murphy is healthy (he had a sore butt and they just wanted to rest him up for the postseason). Strasburg being healthy would be a plus but it won't make or break them. I don't actually think it'll go that way. My real prediction would be Cubs over Red Sox, but I wanted to be a homer at the end.

Seeing that Curtis Martin jersey reminds me of the one I used to have (yea, I owned a Jets jersey, but I loved Martin growing up). Anybody else ever own any non-Bills football jerseys? I've owned: White Jets Curtis Martin jersey Red Cardinals Larry Fitzgerald jersey White Falcons DeAngelo Hall jersey Red Falcons John Abraham jersey Black Falcons Michael Vick jersey White Falcons Keith Brooking jersey Yea, I grew up a Falcons and Bills fan.

This is true. Pitta played seven games in the three years prior to this one. He's off to a good start in the two games he has played, but he's nothing to me until he can prove he's still fully capable. And size isn't an excuse, it's a factor. Certainly hurts us.

We've got one. Also: Joe Flacco, Eli Manning, Ryan Fitzpatrick and Jimmy G are the only ones over 30% across the middle. The best TE between them is Martellus Bennett (Jimmy G didn't have Gronk) and the other three have nobodies at TE.

Only 12.1% of Tyrod Taylor's throws have gone to the middle of the field, the lowest of any NFL starter.

Crazy stat (brought to you by Tim Graham): At the half the Patriots had only 17 offensive snaps. In those 17 defensive snaps for the Bills Zach Brown had 8 tackles (2 for a loss) and two forced fumbles. The last thing I'll say on the Bills WR depth: Michael Crabtree has been AWESOME in Oakland and has caught the game-winning TD in two consecutive weeks for them. Before Crabtree signed with the Raiders he went on NFL Network and said he wanted to sign with Buffalo (also mentioned San Diego). A few days letter Whaley chose to sign Percy Harvin.

I approve of this idea. My favorite place in Buffalo and I can walk from my apartment! I could likely house one of our younger posters if need be (no offense to the elderly but it'd be weird for my roommates). Got mine! -

What mistake? -
Raiders, Jets, Cardinals, Packers, Broncos and Jaguars for sure. Saints, Patriots, Steelers, Texans, Dolphins, Colts, Giants, Eagles, Washington and Seahawks either have a better number two who isn't "significantly better" or design their offenses around having several good WRs. The big problem with the Bills not bringing in another WR is they should've known (and did know) Watkins has had injury issues and the foot was a major risk going into the season. They've got an injury-prone number one, a decent number two and then absolutely nothing. I could probably name 31 teams with a better number three receiver.

After multiple Super Bowls Whaley could get caught sucking Donald Trump in the bathroom while Donald made it rain $20s chanting "this is the money I didn't pay in taxes" and I still wouldn't get upset. It's not a comparable situation.

We should have name tags with our SS names on them. -
No, in football. And I think Belichick has earned the right to be arrogant. It worked, because obviously it would. There's nobody on the street that could've learned the playbook on a short week (Thursday game) and been expected to dress that week. This week could've been a more legitimate argument if it didn't seem like Jimmy G could play.

The Bills aren't an important divisional game. And he wouldn't get roasted if he had a legitimate backup who got hurt and nearly played. Especially when that backup dominated the two games he played in earlier in the year and the team was 3-0... It's just a bad idea to compare anything to New England. They're the greatest era for one franchise ever. Shaq will be a backup if he plays this season. Whaley has some home runs and some whiffs, which is pretty much all you can ask. But winning games is what matters. We'll see where the rest of the season goes.

I hope you're at least mostly joking with that post, TW. The rookie QB thing is irrelevant. Theyve been drafting QBs consistently and only had to deal with it because of the injuries and suspensions at the position. Brissett played and won last week. The WR is by design. They don't have to spend money at the position because of the man running their ship. Brady shreds regardless. It helps having possibly the best TE in history on the squad. I don't know if the pot smoker thing is relevant because I don't really pay attention to who on here is on what side of that discussion. If TW gets on Whaley for having several pot smokers around it's probably a fair point. Line kinda goes back to the WR point. They've had some mediocre lines in New England that Brady makes work. The Chandler Jones point is a good one. Bad deal there, but it could help in the future because Chandler thanked them for not just shopping him to the highest bidder. He took care of Jones by sending him to what was supposed to be a good team.

FINALLY Vin Scully decided to shut up (I 100% admire his hard work and dedication to the game of baseball and will never match him in effort or dedication, but he's totally not my bag)
