I think what McCoy has done to this point is extremely easy to replace. 3. You say 45 carries in four games isn’t enough for McCoy but then call Gore a “feature back” despite him only having 47 carries in five games. Also, as an AP fantasy owner, I can tell you he also isn’t REALLY “getting it done.” He had six yards this week. 20 in week two. He had 96 and 120 in the other weeks which is great but he’s clearly well over the hill. Note that all three of those guys are also not reliant on their speed and shiftiness (Lynch being the third). 4. I’m not sure I want McCoy leading my rookie QB. 5. The report was by Clayton and he was just guessing on what the cost would be. He seems to be the only one thinking the price would be this low. 6. You can never have enough cap space when you’re trying to flip a roster. 7. This team can win the next two games but after that they’ll run into a wall. They’re not near last year and last year’s team was a terrible group that lucked into the playoffs.

There really isn’t any point. Any player they bring back will lower the important asset (the pick). There are no “prospects” in the NFL so there’s no way to configure a deal around a young player from another team that’s worth a damn.

There’s still a whole period left (and when we trailed Vegas 4-1 last year we ended up sending the game to OT so it’s definitely not over) but sometimes there’s driving a good time into the ground by overthinking it and taking stats... too literally?

This is one I’m going to take a look at the scoreboard and feel good about. Vegas had very few good chances. Peppered some shots Hutton handled with ease. Sabres had two very long shifts in their own zone that gave Vegas a good chance to inflate that state in both directions.

It seems like the fans have been giving them a ton of noise and credit the last two games which is exactly what’s needed. I have no problem with the booing in the first game with how bad they were but then you’ve got to give the team noise when they bounce back quickly and give you what you want. Great start. Need to get back to pressuring them since Vegas dominated the latter portion of that period.

That goal HAS to stay Berglund’s because I said before the game he would score. I’ve liked his game so far.

I don’t think it was staged but it did feel like Khabib’s team knew exactly what to do going in there and jumping McGregor.

I’ve never seen someone research and know their opponent so well on a personal level as McGregor does. Obviously didn’t translate to the mat.
