Doan as a sabre would be great but if leino doesnt improve and doan doesnt live up to expectations then players from other teams will ask for big money in buffalo because they know they can get it here... like "hey you offered Leino and Doan so much money why not for me. If you are not offering it I am going to another team." I would like to see Doan in a sabres jersey but not for that much money. He is not worth that much.

Wambach is a great player but what she did in the game against Canada pissed me off. SHe had some brutal tacklings where she clearly fouled her opponent, but she still went to the referee and was requesting a yellow card for diving. It should be possible to suspend players for stuff like that. disgusting

that chinese girl just destroyed her opponents within the last 50 meters... wow!

yeah :D although there wasn't even a breeze today... that's what makes it hard sometimes...whatever perfect weather to attend the beach-dodgeball world championship tomorrow :D

I used to be a season ticket holder. I still visit games in berlin. It's just a great atmosphere when 76.000 people start singing :)

When I was in NYC a couple of years ago I went to the Hard Rock Cafe and they asked me if the german beer they had "Warsteiner" tastes as good as in germany :)

No it's Hertha BSC. If I remember correctly, Germany is the only country in europe (or major country in europe) that doesnt have a team from the capital city in their highest league. But we will be back!

Since my team in germany was relegated last year, the start of the season is close for us. Can't wait for it :)

haha no. But none of my friends is watching hockey. Watched a game with friends once. They were kinda shocked after that. I played soccer/football for 12 years and used to say "top shelf were mama hides the cookies". No one ever understood what I was talking about and they looked at me in disbelief. I hate coffee :D Ill try to catch up at work tomorrow and read through it ;)

think so too. Plus I doubt that all those guys will be on the team when the season starts.

I really like that Darcy signed tough guys that add grit to the team, but I hope we dont go from one extreme into the other.
