  1. I don't remember Tropp as the scoring kid, but I remember him as an hustle kid. He brought energy to the team and was dangerous around the net. Scoring wasnt big but he created chances. He would definitely on my team if he would be healthy :D
  2. I think Foligno isnt there yet... I would give 1A to a player who they think will not be around next year... this way youll need another A next year and Foligno would ahve another season(48gp) to prove himself. But even next year could be to early to make him an Asst. Captain.
  3. agreed I didnt mean to name him as 7th man just as someone for the future we have to think of :D haha Hecht is not coming back. No way they offer him a 1y contract. Sabres have way to many other forwards like Ellis or McCormick and no idea what the deal with Scott is...
  4. No way oilers would do that. Although i never thought we could get hodgson ... Haha
  5. ok not decide but nevertheless weber is a big plus on the sabres team if you want ott to be happy here.
  6. I could live with that as well, but first of all. Weber is a big big bro of Ott and maybe one of the reason Ott decided to come here. So if you trade Weber that might not go nicely with Ott... On the other hand I think right now Sekera has the best trade value so thats why I would trade him.
  7. On Hecht he can leave mannheim, as soon as he gets an NHL offer... I would have brought him back but if they do they need to trade away someone. Sulzer imo is a starting 6 D-Men. Ehrhoff and Sulzer had a fantastic chemistry towards the end of the last year. Sulzer doesnt have the big name or the big reputation but you could see how Ehrhoff's game went up with him as his linemate as he trusts sulz by 100% and that means he can focus a lot on being an offensive dmen. I still would trade Sekera to make Room for Brennan. Reggie has had flashes of brilliance in the past 3 years but also had many games where I thought what the ###### is he doing dont pass the puck to him. He has never found consistency and I doubt that he ever will. So Trade Sekera and get something nice in return. All in all I think we have too many DMen and Leopold although I like him, might be the odd man out. I dunno maybe Myers-Regehr Ehrhoff-Sulzer Brennan-Leopold/Weber McNabb
  8. I bet that Lockout was a Sabres idea. They just wanted to skip the months november and december where they usually have problems. Last year and the year before, Sabres started their playoff hunt in january and won a bunch of games until the end of the season.
  9. yeah later in the game Granlund added some points and tied the race. However the IIHF lists Armia as number 1: http://stats.worldjunior2013.com/Hydra/306/IHM306000_85B_10_0.pdf
  10. http://www.laola1.tv/de/de/eishockey/del-deutsche-eishockey-liga/ehc-red-bull-muenchen-adler-mannheim/video/460-1369-105432.html They play in roughly 2 hours and you can watch it. Pominville,Hecht and Seidenberg vs. Stastny and Wheeler
  11. well it could be a nice sign. 2005: Patrice Bergeron 2006: Phil Kessel 2007: Erik Johnson 2008: James van Riemsdyk 2009: Cody Hodgson 2010: Derek Stepan 2011: Brayden Schenn 2012: Evgeny Kuznetsov
  12. Oh and Joel Armia with 3G and 1A already midway through the 2nd period. Now leading the 2013 World Juniors Scoring Race.
  13. Maybe its because Russians have the reputation of being super spectacular players, but never winning the big things. Like being a clutch performer who scores 4 GWG in the stanley cup playoffs.
  14. YES!!!! Germany beats Latvia 5:2. Leon Draisaitl (2nd youngest player of this WJC) with 2G and 2A. See you next year in Malmö :)
  15. we held them to 2 points instead of 3... ;)
  16. we gotta beat latvia and send them down...thats all that counts
  17. If anyone is interested... Hecht has played 7periods in Germany now. 1Goal 6Assists +5. Since Hecht arrived, Pommers started scoring. In his first game with Hecht, Pommers had 3G and his totals since his arrival are 4G 3A in those 7 periods.

  19. Pominville has signed with the "Adler Mannheim" in Germany. I hate that move as Mannheim is the enemy Number1 for my hometown team in berlin...
  20. yeah found that out today as well. But in times where the CBA is all about money, its worth to point that out again ... haha
  21. In case some didnt know... Ehrhoff plays for free. He told that a german sportsmagazine and said that his team has enough work with gathering the money that is needed for the insurance, so he plays for free.
  22. Saw everything last night including Romney's and Obama's speech at 8am our time. All I can say is thank god!!!
