  1. OMG. You wished bodily injury on me? How dare you. You have no life perspective. I'm a real person! We need to be nicer to each other because reading the context of a conversation is hard! Now let me project more about an annoyance in life onto your obviously joking comment!
  2. If you can't dance on the graves of your hated rivals, you're missing half the fun of being a fan. Oh, and F U WildCard for locking the playoff thread while I was in the midst of a giant response. You need to go away, The thread locker forums are thatta way.
  3. And you need to go away. The Leafs forums are thatta way.
  4. Oh freaking snap  The logical side of me says Bergeron is just that good. The other side says MATTHEWS CAN'T GET IT DONE WHEN IT COUNTS F THE LEAFS!
  5. Reid's stupidity is play calling though. McDermott's and/or Beane's appears to be offensive personnel. Peterman. Dennison. Daboll doesn't exactly have a sterling track record. Zay Jones. Tolbert. Ivory. Whole bunch of not good there. Edit: Oh, can't forget Andre Holmes!
  6. I've considered going dark until the movie is over to prevent this from happening
  7. Sal tweeted Mike Mayock's only mock has us trading to 6 for Allen. Sal's first mock had the same. If this happens...whatever. I have Infinity War tickets for 10:15 tomorrow night to distract me.
  8. Ol' Blackhawks trick? Sir, Babcock's Red Wings were doing that while the city of Chicago still didn't remember they had a hockey team.
  9. In a blind poster test, I guessed this was Callaway. Sign me up. This is the second best of all possible outcomes. Sign me the F up right now.
  10. Practicing? Pffft. I already know. It's just gonna be quotes of you writing him off because of 4 games you saw, followed by a link to his NFL stats :D
  11. One of us is going to get a hell of an "I told you so" in a couple of years
  12. If this is true, it doesn't make me feel any better about McDermott's offensive acumen going forward. I'm worried he might be hopelessly conservative/old school with what he thinks an offense should look like. Even if he is that good, it seems crazy to me to pass on Chubb for a RB.
  13. Maybe you'll be right they're overhyped, but there's no way only 3 go in round 1.
  14. I'd be apoplectic if we traded anything of value for Nick Foles. This seems awfully harsh.
  15. Proper expression and spelling: Matthews = Eichel > Marner > Reinhart.
  16. And all of the best defenses have more than 1 pass rusher. You don't pass up an elite rusher for a guard, no matter how good.
  17. If any team is dumb enough to take a guard over a pass rusher, it's the Browns.
  18. I honestly don't understand how teams can prefer Darnold to him. I just don't.
  19. Yup. Still my top QB. If he slides and we get him with only giving up a second and third or something I'd be beyond ecstatic.
  20. I disagree with this premise, though it is not unreasonable. However, I don't think Bradford is more predictable, he's just unreliable in different ways. Edit: I think part of this is Bradford "looks like a quarterback." Though that can be racially charged (hi Bill Polian), I don't intend it in this instance. He drops back, sets his feet, and throws the ball. That's what plenty of people want, but I think part of that is comfort level with the traditional aesthetics.
  21. I'm really surprised to see you have this opinion of Bradford while also thinking Tyrod is barely a QB. Compare their stats and honestly tell me how Bradford is good and an equivalent player is worth 4 draft picks to move up for, whereas Taylor needed to be run out of town. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/B/BradSa00.htm https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/T/TaylTy00.htm Trading up is fine, but that player has to be better than Sam freaking Bradford.
  22. And one of those two was against (arguably) the greatest team of all time.
  23. It's almost like the goalie debate...getting great goal tending versus having a great goaltender. Peyton definitely played like hot garbage for their entire run, anyway. To be clear, I want a QB, and I want one I'm comfortable riding with long term. But people (and not necessarily here) need to stop pretending that getting a Ryan-level player is the ticket to consistent playoff success in the same way that getting Rodgers would be. Wait, why are we trading up in the 2nd round? This is a deep draft with a lengthy plateau in the middle rounds. Trading picks in that range is a really bad idea.
  24. Sam Bradford's biggest issue isn't durability, it's that he just isn't that good. Sort of like Zach Bogosian, he's hurt so much that people have forgotten his play is wholly unimpressive. He's whatever. You don't give up major assets for whatever. How Bradford keeps bamboozling GMs out of tens of millions of dollars is one of the great mysteries of my lifetime. I tend to lean towards no, but then again, he did win a playoff game.*
