What I like about 28-22-10 is that it's now Phil's defensive go-to, rather than having 3 players he likes defensively on different lines and thus constantly splitting them up and mish-mashing things together for defensive zone draws, creating havoc- if it worked and we got the puck back everything was disrupted by needing to change the second we got it out. That annoyed the crap out of me and put all the focus on the wrong end of the ice considering what we needed to figure out at the time (how to score). Now he can just roll them like he did all game in LA/Anaheim. It's better for every player involved.

Came to post these exact two things

I think, for pi's situation to unfold, we would need a lot of rules to get changed back, and I see no indication that the league has any interest in this. It pays to throw to guys who will draw yellow if any serious attempt to cover them is made.

Lebron is the only reason I have ever or will ever turn on a basketball game. Though I do enjoy watching his opponents if they have certain players (Paul/Harden, Westbrook, KD/Curry)

I can just see Terry nodding his head sagely as McDermott explains that in his job interview. How much sense it sounds like it makes

Was this win a sign of good things to come?

I have a few choice things I could say about his recent coverage in general, but it probably isn't worth the trouble -

Vogl rides random trains far further than I ever would. -
To be fair, Kyle mostly played with Nielsen, at least in his last year (64 points) on the Island. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ One thing that needs to be talked about is concussions. Jeff has had a few. He's had 4-5 healthy years since then, but I think with concussions the threat is always there, and the ease with which new ones happen doesn't lessen as time goes on. That could be wrong.

Housley Should Have Until End of December

I'm sure I'll stumble across something interesting and can link it when I do, but in the meantime, hit up their board at hfboards. There should be a Q thread probably pretty close to the top -
Who Will Have a Better Season - Bills or Sabres?
Randall Flagg replied to GASabresIUFAN's topic in The Aud Club
I didn't vote in the poll because I wouldn't walk the walk, but I would certainly change my tone in this discussion. Congrats to the Sabres for more than likely being on top relative to the other. It's like I'm in high school again -
There were lots of board conversations about Skinner before we ever were even hinted at trading for him. I would always butt in to talk about how drool-worthy his skating is, and True was always the most prominent "I f*cking hate Jeff Skinner" voice on the board. I'm pretty sure WildCard didn't like him either, and others had well-known takes, but it was a fairly regular talking point, to the tune of 3-4 times per season

Jack, Sam, Bogo went to party with Kaner My first ever jersey purchase will be a white Dahlin after they've fixed the colors. Then Jack's.

Housley also reeeeally likes to keep 3 RHD and 3 LHD and to pair them together.

Forget the 60s, this is 1940s football. (yeah i know that's not quite what you were saying) What are the Bills up to now? 3 passing TDs, and like 12 picks? Mitch Trubisky threw 5 passing TDs in a span of 20 minutes in today's NFL, and we have 3 in 7 games

It doesn't hurt that Zach Redmond is apparently a generational AHLer, and Pilut and Guhle exist.

I don't want Quenneville. In fact, I think he'd fit in the "Bylsma" category. Somebody with success (sure, a lot more success) in the past that isn't with the game anymore. With a team full of youngsters and his track record of hating to play youngsters, and the words coming out of Chicago fans about his role in their current defensive system etc. -

I read that the Ducks did too haha. Not sure if it's true. Nate might still be hurt.

I had a feeling you'd be at this one too.
