  1. don't forget not covering up the post on the 2nd goal that bounced off the back boards. ryan left a country mile between his skate and the post allowing that 2nd goal to be scored. fleury had the exact same situation and covered the post resulting in, no goal. outcome might have been different if that post had been covered.
  2. If that was dirty, then every Kaleta hit is dirty. Was the same kind of hit.
  3. Obviously you don't watch enough hockey games that don't involve the sabres. It's not about the goalie opposite Miller when the sabres play. But whatever keep dreaming that our mediocre goalie is going to take us to the promise land like some believed R Fitzpatrick was the answer for the Bills. I want a guy who is better at stopping the puck and keeps his yap shut in the locker room.
  4. Hey skippy, I understand the game perfectly fine. So a goalie is not allowed to be better than Miller just because he has played less games? Great logic! and so what if Rask had a bad game, it's plenty fewer than Miller has had this year. How many games in a row did Ryan give up 4 goals? 5, yeah that's sooooo much better goaltending, please!
  5. I have no problems with Ennis at all. I like the kid, he is entertaining, hustles all the time, and is very skillful.
  6. I am not going to get in a Miller pissing match but I honestly can't believe you can't figure that out. Come on, you need to watch some other games. So far this year I have seen somewhere north of 75 games and trust me, their are a lot of goalies playing better than Ryan. Crawford, Niemi, Anderson, Rinne, Rask(and the back up Khobolin or what ever his name is), Fasth, Lehtonen, Price, Halak when healthy, Backstrom, Lundqvist, etc. and there is more.
  7. Thank you. Quite frankly, Millers act is getting as old and tired as Ruffs is. He's good for a handful of games then bad for a handful of games, good again, then bad again. He has critiqued and thrown teammates under the bus numerous times. He also stops extremely difficult breakaway shots, yet has a penchant for letting in fairly routine blue line shots. I just think it is also time for Miller to go. Too many better goalies out there in the league Buffalo could get.
  8. I don't care what anybody says, I think he is a cancer in the locker room. When he has constantly talked like that about teammates, how can it not be. I also don't recall one single player calling him out when he is not playing good, which seems to be more frequent.
  9. How many GMs and coaches would be lining up for the Buffalo gigs if R&R get the ax? I think just about everybody associated with hockey at one time or another, as Buffalo has proven time and time again you don't have to be successful for job security.
  10. Good article. I have to believe Terry P. and T. Black are starting to get that itch to change things, they have to be. I have to believe that or what was the point of Terry P. buying the team and bringing T. Black along for the ride. I think in this case Terry P's silence is deafening because he is having a hard time coping with the thought of ridding the Sabres of R&R.
  11. Not sold on Miller but he was excellent tonight.
  12. You know what they say, excuses are for losers.
  13. Just like I think Lindy is done and will never win in Buffalo. I feel the same about Miller. He is done and won't ever win in Buffalo either.
  14. No he doesn't. Miller is never held accountable, as of now Miller is 30th in GAA and 20th in SV%, that's horrible, but Miller isn't at fault for those bad numbers, the team is. Every excuse is made for why he didn't play well. Generally when Miller doesn't play well, blame is directed at defensive breakdowns, not back checking, guys standing in front of the net, anything and everything gets blamed for why Miller has a bad game except for Ryans bad play. JJ is right the double standard is sickening when all blame is placed on Enroth when the same circumstances happen to him.
  15. All good things come to an end. He had a good long run here and his time is up. Time to turn the page and move on.
  16. Cunneyworth did an excellent job in Rochester and I thought he did good in MTL under the circumstances he was thrown into there. He has also been a good assistant everywhere he has been.
  17. how about Randy Cunnyworth. I think he would do a better job than Ruff does with these guys.
  18. its only a game dude. way way more pressing issues in this world than hockey games
  19. i agree, I think there is quite a bit of talent on this team. It's not being used the right way.
