I have no idea where he even plays. He was kind of okay here, so probably the same wherever he is.

Regulation is by the Utility And Review Board (UARB) an independent (supposedly) board that regulates the price of gas and has final approval of rates for electricity and such. The insurance (car and home) industry is regulated in NS too. In reality it is the regulatory branch of the provincial government. We (taxpayers) pay for it all.

In Halifax and all of NS the price at the pump is regulated. Right now it is $1.88 / litre for regular gas. 4 litres equals 1 US gallon, so about $7.50 per US gallon. Converted that is about $5.75 US per US gallon. This is the most accurate and technically correct price calculation. It is what the UARB use to determine the price here in NS, but then they convert that to dollars and cents per litre.

The beach in Erie, PA and a joy ride down I79 to Pittsburgh for an early fall Penguin, Stiller and Pirate (probably not .. lol) trifecta. Driving through the Fort Pit Tunnel and emerging in downtown is an awesome sight. Pretty sure you can get there on a tank of gas. Many nice parts of southern Ontario (especially south west - lake Erie area) is nice if you want to cross the boarder. You could fly to Halifax on less than a tank and I hightly recommend it.

PGH all in for another cup or 2 before the best before date on Crosby. At 35 they have a 2 to 3 year window. None of the other old guys matter really. Dollars to donuts they win one more cup in the next 3 years. Maybe 2. Then Crosby will retire and become special ambasador like Mario before him. They will somehow manage to fenagle 1OA when the next Crosby or Mario comes around.

No. Some things are out of his control. Namely injuries and the grind of a long season. The only thing on your list that could have been impacted by something KA did was the faltering G tandem, but even that seemed to be fine until key injuries.

Little know fact (maybe ????? - if you know your history you will know where you are coming from ... 😎). The song was writen by American (I think) composer Aaron Copeland as a clasical piece in 1942 (I think) and was addapted to be the official song of the Montreal Olympics in '76. This video was recorded at Montreal's Olympic Stadium in the winter of 1977 when ELP were on their North American tour that year. They were rehearsig with thier orchestra in the basement of the Big O when Greg Lake went up into the stadium and was impressed by the vast openness.

He asked me who the hell I was and so I told him. Then he told me to F OFF - nice guy other than that. It was in a downtown hotel lobby little shop. He was buying Bic disposables. I needed a train ticket to get to Carnegie. Tockett in Pittsburgh. Mario was our neighbour in Pittsbugh before he built out in the sticks. Mount Lebanon. Nice pool. We kinda crashed his cup party in '91. Cup was in the deep end. Everyone was giddy and plastered. No one noticed us at all so we left. Kind of boring really. Ernie Whitt ran over my brothers foot. Good point. I think he will be pushed this year and I do think that a 1 year at 2.5 is pricy for an insurance type guy. I think he was rewarded for being a good soldier and KA had the cap space. I think Jost is unlikely to be back next season, but if he is he will hopefully be at least #13 or more on the depth chart. He is an NHL player though. They brought him back instead of Hiney-Stroka.
