  1. The game tying goal is why you don't have to be in a hurry to trade Myers. He did everything you could ask on that play.
  2. There is no way I would trade Fashing back for McNabb right now. The price to get Fashing was steep. The payoff unknown as of yet, but that's a deal I would make again.

  4. Agreed.
  5. Can two guys share a Jack Hoff?
  6. I don't know. I'm starting to believe in our chances at home. I have no faith in this squad as a road team, but liking the chances at home.
  7. I wonder if they hire Paul MacLean.
  8. That was a serious question of mine. If Dallas Eakins could win the Jack Hoff coaching award after such a short tenure.
  9. I usually choose the middle one on the least trafficked theory.
  10. I've never really thought of it that way, even though I knew the logistics. I still wish the Clippers misery.
  11. That might put the brakes on any little Crosbys.
  12. P word? Whoa. Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Even Columbus just won 6 in a row, this is the NHL and all rosters have talent. Buffalo included. My catholic math sez: Buffalo would have to win 32 out of 52 games just to get to 90 points and would most likely miss the playoffs still. None of this is impossible, just very improbable. The only team I really believe that Buffalo is better than in the East is Carolina. And I'm usually the optimistic guy.
  13. Panthers were a leg less team compared to Friday night. Nice to see the Sabres finally outshoot somebody.
  14. I don't think the plan was ever to be as bad of a hockey team that we saw in October.
  15. We will draft #6 #becausebuffalo
  16. Homophones prefer aural.
  17. I'm in this camp. While I see signs of optimism in terms of individual play and team play, this is still a very limited roster with very little team depth.
  18. hell, the Sabres won the Northeast in 2009-10. Nearly everyone hated that team.
  19. No sadness in the Carrion. It's been banned.
  20. This is still a rebuild. I want the team to win when I watch. I don't know how else to watch. Winning can help. However, I also think winning raises the value of the assets that you already have and makes them more liquid. For example.....(and I'm not suggesting he needs to be traded) But if you were to packaging Enroth with a forward, he would bring a better return now than 4 weeks ago. Oh, and I do think this is bad roster on a good run. There will be plenty of losing to come. Every team leaves Buffalo thinking.....'But we outplayed them!"
  21. The roles of the middle two lines. Especially I'm not sure if I understand what Stafford, Foligno, Stewart is about. What is the role of that line? Flynn-Mitchell-Gionta ..seems like a checking line. Delauries-Kaleta-McCormick I get. I'm not upset, mind you, I'm just not sure what it is that is being asked of them. I'm not saying it won't work, either. It just doesn't seem initially apparent to me.
  22. It was fun. making the most of 5 scoring chances a game.
  23. Are you on Veni, vidi, or vici? N
  24. Kasparov resigned with black.
