My catholic math sez: Buffalo would have to win 32 out of 52 games just to get to 90 points and would most likely miss the playoffs still. None of this is impossible, just very improbable. The only team I really believe that Buffalo is better than in the East is Carolina. And I'm usually the optimistic guy.

However, I also think winning raises the value of the assets that you already have and makes them more liquid. The roles of the middle two lines. Especially I'm not sure if I understand what Stafford, Foligno, Stewart is about. What is the role of that line? Flynn-Mitchell-Gionta ..seems like a checking line. Delauries-Kaleta-McCormick I get. I'm not upset, mind you, I'm just not sure what it is that is being asked of them. I'm not saying it won't work, either. It just doesn't seem initially apparent to me.
