    One thing you learn writing, is the guy with the byline doesn't usually write the headlines. It is a pretty balanced piece. IMO

    I read it and liked it. Like the Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval this wins one of my Eggy Awards. McCann that high? Hmmmm. I really think Ehlers is a gem of a player at 9. I'd be surprised if Richie goes that high, but Calgary has a tradition of trying to out-think the draft.

    There is a PissRoomBeerShelf joke here somewhere. Nice head of hair on that Sipowicz - I liked Sipowicz. A guy that probably bowls his best game when he's really pissed off. Oh, and i just wasted one of my 10 Buffalo News stories on "6-fingered family roots for Brazils 6th World Cup." That would piss off Sipowicz all day.

    I wouldn't be surprised if Ennis gets moved - if not this year then next. I just don't think he fits Murray's prototype. The same goes for Enroth. That's not to say they are bad players, I just think that Murray wants players that are harder to move through when you are trying to get out the subway door.

    Lucas Bloodoff? That will be tough to follow. Is there a player named Boris Spillgut? Rufus Mankill?

    The thing about Buffalo, they don't have to give up a thing. They would just wait on the waiver wire.

    It will be a curious year there. I'm sure he's brought in Lavi with the idea that they'll play the left wing lock, the only problem is they don't really have the personnel to run it at forward. I actually think it would be a perfect system for Ennis, which would relieve him of some of the defensive duties of center ice. Just a thought. I also think that Poille has to start winning soon.

    What is your philosophy on drafting goalies? Murray - "Wait until the 7th round and draft the biggest Swede or Finn you can." :lol:

    It doesn't seem like he has more than an ounce of sentiment in him. I can't see him getting overly attached to player A or B. I like that he wants internal competition and to get rid of a mentality that any particular player is safe here in their career. I'm enjoying his tenure so far. He's funny too.
