  1. True, but then Cody lost Dupuis in front of the net and didn't cover him before the deflection. Stood right next to him and did nothing.
  2. Why is Dupuis not collecting teeth off the ice for that late shot after the whistle?
  3. This. I love Cody's offensive game but it seems like all his turnovers have ended up in the net.
  4. Wang looking to sell Isles? http://prohockeytalk.nbcsports.com/2013/02/16/report-wang-seeking-to-sell-islanders/
  5. Can it be any worse than with Fitz? At least T-Jax has some arm strength and doesn't have to put everything he has into the throw.
  6. True about Perreault. My father loved telling me and my brothers about how Gil broke a couple noses and as a result most guys didn't want to mess with him. With Thornton - he went in to the fight with 25 career scraps to Toews' two. To be fair, though - while there are some tough guys on his dance card, there are a lot of guys that you look at the list and go "really? REALLY?" Look at the top of the list for the first shocker - a former Sabre. http://www.hockeyfights.com/players/282/rivals
  7. Very impressed with Toews for wanting to go with Thornton. Joe is no slouch when it comes to dropping the mitts.
  8. Very surprised to see Tavaris Jackson re-sign with the Bills. They must have really sold him on the idea of a true open QB competition - or they told him that they are cutting Fitz and they want T-Jax to keep the position warm until the rookie they draft is ready to go.
  9. Lucky bounce, but since it was the Bruins it must be a pretty play.
  10. Rayzor: "Sabres were standing around watching". Again. For the second straight goal. Good job cleaning it up, Lindy.
  11. Same here. Found a couple decent pizza places in Cleveland but wing places are tough to come by. http://groovycandies...goodbar&x=0&y=0
  12. Healthy scratch according to Sabres reporters on Twitter. And then four guys cover Lucic, and stand around looking at the Bruins while they leisurely pass the puck around.
  13. Looks like he is overthinking and trying to get too cute with the puck. Grip it and rip it.
  14. He's going to be more than a ST'er, IMO. He's good good speed, good size, and can hit like a truck. Excellent point.
  15. Angles and force of impact. My kid is taller and was bending over, reaching for the ball. As my kid bent down, the other shorter kid shot up fast. Forehead/front bone 1, mouth 0. If The Code demands it, then I have no choice.
  16. Let's be honest...we needed at least 2 NFL linebackers regardless of whether Barnett was on the roster. Don't underestimate Bradham. I watched him throughout college - he's a heluva physical talent. He's just young and I think he will grow into a solid NFL linebacker with more reps and game experience. (I know I am biased.)
  17. I was surprised he last this long. Great return man, good cover guy, body fell apart.
  18. I saw it on NHL Tonight last night around 1 am and thought the same thing. I see the leg coming down, but I don't see a stomping motion. I hate Matt Cooke but I don't see intent on this one.
  19. My kid smacked heads with another kid at recess yesterday. My kid walked away with two fat lips, cuts on his gums, and teeth pushed around. Not a scratch on the other kid from what we were told. Poor kid looks like he went toe-to-toe with John Scott.
  20. Ouch. Sorry to hear that, shrader. We lost an uncle a couple months before we got married, and our wedding was the first time that the whole family got together since the funeral. It still cast a shadow over the event. Good luck with everything.
