  1. After last night, I am now on board. Get O'Reilly. Shake off the last remnants of "The Core". Move on.
  2. Anything is possible. I love Miller but at this point if they could package him for a couple good young, can't-miss prospects (including a goalie) I'd probably be on board with a trade. Are you playing at The Q this weekend?
  3. Wow. Don't see many end-to-end rushes anymore. That was beautiful. Respectfully disagree. I don't think he was making any attempt to reach for the puck. Looked to me like he was hitting from behind, right from the get-go. Excellent.
  4. I doubt it. Pick Darcy's soundbite response: "Don't want to make a move out of desperation" "Don't want to deal from a position of weakness" "Don't want to make a move for the sake of making a move" "The answer will come from inside the room" "Lots of talk, but the market hasn't been set yet"
  5. Mr. Hansen, please pick up the white courtesy phone. Mr. Shannahan is on the line.
  6. Watching TB and Toronto....Kadri and Hedman tussling in Tampa zone...Orr jumps in and grabs Hedman...and Kadri starts throwing punches over the top while MacArthur has Hedman's arms tied up.
  7. Kane is awfully damn liberal with his stick tonight and not getting called for anything.
  8. Yeah, I guess I get it, but it is an odd choice of phrase to make the point that they've looked like a three-ring circus in their own end this year.
  9. Difference is that none of us have a national TV audience (that I know of). Just surprised that the NHL and NBC let him continue to perpetuate his caveman stereotype.
  10. Did Mike Milbury just argue against the faceoff/hand rule by advocating that an opposing player hit someone in the face with a stick???
  11. Terrible, TERRIBLE call on Pominville. Hand off stick =/= holding.
  12. ABOUT DAMN TIME! That was a comedy of errors and miscues before the goal.
  13. True. We already have horrible decision making by Fitz - how many 4th-quarter comeback-killing INTs did he throw this year? And both have career completion rates around 59% so I don't think you would have seen a significant downgrade in play if it had been T-Jax instead of Fitz last year, which was my point. In any case I am OK with him keeping the seat warm for the rookie, whoever that is. Right now I think it'll be Nassib, but I am hoping not at 8.
  14. CoHo giveth, and CoHo taketh away. This. Wasn't going to be denied.
  15. I'm still puzzled by this phrase: "but their pants are dropping while their fists are up"
