I too, have no expectations. Like most of the last handful of seasons. They’ve seemingly had some of the right pieces on some of those rosters, but always the wrong coach. Hopefully they have the right one finally, just now without good pieces yet. Im hoping for a lot of run and gun 7–4 type games. Those would be exciting. I’m still pretty sure I won’t be watching any games for the first time since the late 90’s, but I may cave. I’ll likely attend a game or 2 if tix are cheap.

Ironically, I work with a guy also named Doug Allen who won’t get vaccinated because he had COVID. Is there even any proof that someone who had COVID is immune? I honestly haven’t been paying attention to news much this year. People who have had the flu can get the flu again, that’s as much as I know.

As much as I understand the “its his body, he should be able to do what he wants,” he signed a contract with a team that controls what he can do with his body. It’s not much different than someone who signs up for the military, and they say “hey you’re going to Afghanistan.” That person can’t just say “nah, it’s not safe for my body.”
