Amerks lost 5-4 in OT. Ollie got an assist, extending his point streak to 6 games.

Yeah but I’m now 1-0!

This is very true. I don’t recall seeing much promotion or advertising of them being here. Yes, they had a location in Greece. That Long Pond / Ridgeway corner spot they had gave them tons of visibility, despite lack of adverts.

Heard that. I’ve liked his play so far, but saying he’s fast? He looked slow to me, which is fine if you’re playing a defensively sound game. -

Never underestimate the impact winning games (or losing a bunch year after year) can have on someone. -

Mitts was shoved into the boards, not Sheary. -
The Henrietta one was an awful location. The one on Ridgeway, most of the stores in that plaza do fairly decent (DiBellas, Bella Pasta), and Philly Steakout right across the street. You’re right though, they needed to be more accessible to higher volume of drunks. I never went to either one when they were here, but I used to peruse the Buffalo ones after concerts back in my drinking days.

And Cathy or whatever her name is/was...the Risto fan.

Maybe the win was due to having two GDT’s, and we should do it again. -

HCPH does what worked last time - sit him for a couple games following the SO. -

HCPH remixed the lines, but we still only have one line scoring! (so far) -

Dahlin isn’t your normal rookie. I’d say he’d benefit from more ice time, instead of less. -
There’s no more Mighty Alpo locations here in Rochacha.

This is way too close to the truth.

I was trying to forget those two losses. ?♂️ -
As I stated in preseason.

I don’t “follow another team.” I said that I choose other teams to root for in the playoffs when the Sabres aren’t in it, because I’m a hockey fan. Seriously, what’s wrong with you tonight?
-
If that’s even true, I won’t fault anyone for rooting for another team during our long lull. It is the team that is always in your heart that matters. Since the Sabres haven’t been to the playoffs since 1901, I’ve chosen a team every year to pull for in the playoffs. I love the Sabres but I also love hockey.
-
JJ is too. He’s been posting here for a long time and is a Sabres backer. Times have been tough for the team for a long time, but he’s still here.
-
Seriously, can you both please stop. This is an “around the NHL” thread and you are both Sabres fans.
-
Excellent post. There’s just going to be a lot of bloodthirsty reactions this season. We’ve been through so many losing seasons, that we want wins. The Sabres have back to back losses while Olaf is piling up points in the A, of course the natural reaction is wanting him here. How many Kassians and Zadorovs and Grigorenkos did we ruin by bringing them up too soon in a horrible culture?

Please stop this.

These seem like some very drastic changes. At the very least, I’d put Samson with ERod and Mitts instead of the zombie KO. -
The 3-4-0 Buffalo Sabres skate into Los Angeles to take on the 2-4-1 Kings in an afternoon matchup. The Sabres have scored 13 goals and given up 22 goals in their 7 games to date. Similarly, the Kings have scored 14 goals and given up 23 in their 7 contests. Can Buffalo climb back to .500? Rumor has it that HCPH is shaking up the 5v5 lines and the PP lines: 53 Jeff Skinner - 9 Jack Eichel - 29 Jason Pominville 71 Evan Rodrigues - 37 Casey Mittelstadt - 21 Kyle Okposo 43 Conor Sheary - 17 Vladimir Sobotka - 23 Sam Reinhart 28 Zemgus Girgensons - 22 Johan Larsson - 10 Patrik Berglund / 72 Tage Thompson 19 Jake McCabe - 55 Rasmus Ristolainen 6 Marco Scandella - 8 Casey Nelson 26 Rasmus Dahlin - 81 Remi Elie* (Bogo and Bo-U with “maintenance” days) Here's how both power-play units looked on Friday, with Dahlin also joining the top set of five: PP1: Eichel, Skinner, Mittelstadt, Pominville, Dahlin PP2: Sheary, Reinhart, Okposo, Rodrigues, Ristolainen Sabres power play has gone ice cold, going 1-for-21 in their last four games [4.7%]. Will these changes help? LETS GO BUFFALO!

Mallo Cups help provide a clue.
