Well the 2015 draft will be critical on our future roster make up. If we do grab another center (lets say Mcdavid) Grigorenko and Reinhart could become a 2a - 2B kind of thing.
Or reinhart can wind up on his wing, who knows, I'm just getting excited looking at these kids. Moving Hodgson to the wing has already solidfied my believe that Grigs will be our #2.
I see Girgensons more as our future #3 center though. Ideally he gets pushed back to that spot after 2015 because off all the talent down the middle.
Reinhart will need to get physically stronger to play in a man's league and to be able to absorb punishing NHL hits like the one laid on him by Zemgus Girgensons at the Sabres Development Camp this July. It was a thundering, board-rattling hit that was a "welcome to the NHL" moment from a player who had the physical makeup to make the jump to the pros as an 18 yr. old.Guess im not alone in thinking this way. http://www.hockeybuzz.com/blog/Michael-Pachla/Building-the-Buffalo-Sabres-2014-15-roster--C-Zemgus-Girgensons/209/62158

I can easily see Grigorenko make it and Reinhart being send back.
Grigorenko needed some time to mature physically and it looks like he is finally there, allthough he doesn't have the hockey sense Reinhart has.
The one thing that stood out from prospects camp to me was, how Reinhart looked like a kid vs Girgensons and Grigorenko wich is normal seeing he is two years behind.
But if Reinhart isn't ready physically he needs to go back like tampa did with drouin. We really shouldn't risk him getting injured when he isn't phsyically ready for it.
Grigorenko will most likely be send to the AHL, if he tears it up there he'll be a call up and Reinhart will get his 9 games.

Bran and Hodor won't appear at all in season 5.
Maybe not, but i bet he comes flying on top of that 3rd dragon in season 6 then :P
Have a feeling he'll kill '(the writer) off jon snow though, i should read the books :P

Good news is my company got sold and the Private equity firm sold their shares, bad news is its to another Private Equity firm.
Guess the only positive news is that this one actually has money to invest in our company, as long as they don't decide to strip us and sell us piece by piece.

Three years. You evaluate a quarterback midway into his third year.
So you give a QB 3 years, even if he shows no improvement, that seems like screwing your team over for atleast 2 seasons. That is just criminal :P

Beat me to it. I would just add that regardless of how good a D they were last year after years of ineptitude, they've subtracted their coach, their best playmaker in Byrd and perhaps their best linebacker in Alonso, plus Dareus' offseason has added some uncertainty.
Have to agree with you on this, was bored at work and read up on some stuff and personally as a coach i wouldn't give EJ more than two games to prove himself. He has had enough time to do so.
And you traded up for a star WR , he deserves a QB that can throw it to him.

Watched a Barcelona game for the first time. Holy ###### they are good.
Yeah i can't respect that team much though, debt of 800 million euro , same goes for Real madrid.
And both had similar debts basically swiped away by the state. ( If they are really unlucky Europe will make them give it all back to) wich i hope ;D

The only time i can See QC getting another team is if one of the Florida teams get moved there.
for the western conference its wide open, for Seatle, portland (one of the two , can't see both getting one), and kansas or las vegas (wich i can't see happening with all the gambling going on there).

Yeah nice goals to, all well finished, goalies couldn't do a thing about those.

I don't know how much Hanks knows about football, but at least he knows it should be played on grass ...

And, of course, Blatter is being an idiot. Imagine the future of FIFA major tournaments is in artificial turf. Is nothing sacred?
I agree, There is nothing like playing on real grass. I see these artificial turfs popping everywhere, and simply put they suck.

:clapping: :clapping:Boy, we are really plumbing the depths here.
heh.

Went with seatle and kansas because they round the western conference more nicely.
If the nordiques come back they would have to move either columbus, toronto or detroit out west wich they won't like.
If las vegas gets a team, it will most likely be the coyotes.

The St Louis Blues, have added this offseason Brian Boyle and Paul Stastny. They also resigned Ott and Brian Elliot and will be promoting Jake Allen to the active roster. How much of an impact this will have is unclear but they should easily be a playoff team again this year and will probably finish in the 4-7 range in the west. Do not let a poor showing in the playoffs allow to believe this isn't a good team.
So you say we need to hold a fundraiser, so we can pay the maffia to break some legs in St louis ?

I went for
#1 Hodgson ( wanted to put Grigorenko here, but i think he will tear up the AHL and only gets a few call ups)
#2 enrorth/neuvirth the goalies are our biggest question mark i think.
#3 Grigorenko think everyone know how much i love this kid, and still our only center i can see winning more face offs than losing them.

Again, Ullmark.
As for the rest, you are giving DR far to much credit. He had know way of guessing the Islanders would be bad last year and push off their pick to 2015 with again a possibility of being terrible. Last year when he made that trade all indications pointed to the Islanders trending upwards. Also Kevin Devine's influence on our draft picks can simply not be understated. Also, Grigorenko developing properly would be a direct result of what Nolan/Murray do because DR was jerking Grigs chain around for months. Reinhart was solely Murray/Devine's pick.
DR was fine at drafting but he was terrible at team building, hence the reason we have a new GM. Darcy was not and will never be a big picture guy.
Yes , but i still would give Darcy some credit, he loaded up the 2015 draft with picks like no one else could have. And we all know the islanders are a long shot for a playoff team.

Samsung Galaxay is nice, but most of the phones have an issue, just hope you notice it before warrantee expires.
They sometimes shut down because of an error with battery, wich mine has but only started after i had it more than a year.
Rocking the Galaxay S-plus. But when it comes to smartphones, i think Samsung still is the best you can get.

Sheeyit. Quite right. I saw the $19M number and misunderstood its reference point -- that was for all of 2013. Cripes. $40M is a lot of coin.
It really isn't for a global campaign
-
Had alot of high hopes for stafford since that game.

It really is great. I've done it and donated myself. Unfortunate that only about 1.6 million of that goes to research.
Well that is my main concern with most charities, Red Cross, UN, WWF , greenpeace, sure they are nice projects but 90 % of their funds go to working costs.
mostly only 10 % goes to the actual people who need it. If you see that a CEO of one of those organizations makes 3 million euro a year, then no thx im not donating.
Except that post doesn't make any sense because the number is WAY over $15M. And most people doing the challenge are young people who know how to type into google. It'd be nice if people were mentioning/linking the site in every video, but it's not "tragic" that it hasn't been fully mentioned.
This is just grasping for straws. "There's got to be SOMETHING to complain about here."
(To be fair, this post was likely made back when there was "only" $15M but that's an incredible number considering that was after two weeks. Over a million a day is impressive and never tragic).
To be honest with a campaign like that, the number should be over $100M

I don't think Tim connolly was the most dissapointing sabre, I think he dead quite well in between 2006 - 2008.
But the injuries got to him to much, but he made some very nice plays that make me want to watch hockey all the time.
Leino ranks at the top of my list.
Leino needs to go!

Bruins are in trouble with the cap, they still need to sign krug and smith, so they'll have to trade a top 6 guy most likely marchand to do so.
Leino is already a desperate attempt to fill that void that marchand will leave but for cheap.
