1-1 pretty fair result
Bad result for bosnia though , they start out with a 2/9. They have alot of catching up to do.
netherlands are 3/9, lost to a surprising iceland, bot czech republic and iceland are 9/9 in that group.

Thad being said, we knew it was going to be rough month.

I think we collectively underestimated how much losing The Hoff would matter. He definitely mailed it in at the end of last year, but he was the only defenseman who could consistently generate offense. The Hoff was on the ice for 80 of the 150 goals the Sabres scored last year.
I firmly believe the hoff will be back next year. I always liked him, yes he went down with the rest of the team.
Let me remind you guys though, he wanted to be a sabre and play in buffalo.

He'd be a very good 4th liner on most teams IMO. Buffalo is still playing too many guys one line higher than they really are.
Was thinking the same, maybe tank gets his wish and we'll sign Nick in the offseason as free agent. :P
Nick foligno on a 2b line with Zemgus next year.
Marcus will be a good 4th liner anyday.

Doubt germans see the game vs poland as a rivalry. Rivalry for me comes from both sides, not just one btw.

I watched Dallas/Chicago last night.
Dallas is a fun team to watch. Active D, roll 4 lines at top speed, 4 forwards on the power play. Great passing up-tempo team. Lindy has less hair though,
just like the 2006-2008 sabres

Apparently Bettman doesn't mind if Chris Pronger is hired by the department of player safety and remains employed and payed by Ed Snider. What a crock of ######. Cronyism is alive and well in the N.H.L.
Chris Pronger is going to participate in all decisions not affecting Flyers games directly. This is the same arrangement the NHL has with Colin Campbell and the Bruins. Chris is still going to be paid by Flyers and his charge against the Cap and LTIR treatment will remain the same.Was thinking the same, if you go do another job, then clearly you are no longer an active hockey player, he should be counting against the cap right now.

I drive an automatic 4-cyl hatchback. My wife's minivan is really fun to drive because, although it's still an auto, and much larger, it's the very first 6-cyl I've ever driven.
I feel like Mario Andretti when I roll out onto 5 & 20.
How can you feel like that if you don't drive manual ? :D
My response as someone from a country where you can't get your licence without learning to drive manual. (exceptions are made for disabled people)

Guess im coming to terms with this a bit, lets just try to see this as a move helping out the 2015-2016 team.
But somethign just doesn't feel right about Grigs getting send back. Anyways when he lights the NHL up, he'll be fan favorite, this has buffalo written all over it :P
