Lehner will need some time to get into gameshape, even after last nights shutout against what will be a bottom 3 team. Thing is, murray already said " if it takes a year to get his feet under him, it will happen we are not going for the grand prize " I know our expectations are getting higher, and Murray filled in alot of holes already, but to be a contending playoff team we will need to grow some more + fill in some of the small holes. Right now I feel like we could make the playoffs or might miss it, but we'll have fun watching our team again. Edit: one of those small holes actually is a big one. A #2 LHD to play along Ristolainen, Yandle is the first that comes to mind and if he signs an extension I'd give up Zemgus even.

Also Phaneuf lifts his skates off the ice, isn't this usually something that should be reviewed. If he didn't jump and kept his skates on the ice there wouldn't be any contact to the head.

Last preseason our 2nd best line was Hodgson - Grigorenko - Stewart. We'll see what happens when the real season starts. Eichel brings a more physical game than Mcdavid.

###### eichel has some wheels under him. Don't know who the leafs defender was but he just burned him. Wasn't D, Was brown a marlies winger :p still impressive though.

Allthough i can us scoring alot of goals and rolling out 3 offensive lines with either Samson or Zemgus ( really love their names, they should be characters in a streetfighter game) as 3C. I'd be very surprised if we make it into the playoffs as #3 in the atlantic. Lehner would have to play very well all season. The scary part will be that larsson will be on the 4th with foligno who could both show us some magic as well. We got some serious depth this season.

Yeah they sucked, but that fight wasn't a low point of the season for me. Stamkos was acting like a primadonna douche on the ice, and hedman went after zemgus' knees. That fight was one of the few times this I thought we had a hockeyteam.

He is the starter because the of the price we payed, its an open competition because its his job to lose.

He loves the team so much he wouldn't mind, just hope he can call us to the stanley cup. He is one of the reasons I fell in love with this team, his passion for this team is like none. He touched the inner parts of my soul when I first heard him.

Murray pretty much said, I'll give him a whole year if that is what it takes to get his feet under him. Doubt he'll give him that much but he has enough faith in him.
