Over 85% of his ice time is with Kane, so that .53 is a very small sample size. It's obvious that he's benefitting from Kane's monster season, though, while Girgensons has been far and away Jack's best linemate (and only for about 8 games or so)

John Scott and Steve Ott. Two 4th liners that were on really bad Sabres teams that had a profound effect on my heart.

He was playing 1st pairing minutes with Risto against the toughest competition. Every defenseman is going to give up goals. I'll grant that he had a tough week or two before his injury but that doesn't change the fact that he's been largely good for us this year.

I agree, I don't even see him out there. In all seriousness, Gorges has been one of the most consistent D-men in his own zone. How people can honestly believe that he's worse than McCabe, Pysyk, Weber, and Franson is beyond me. I also think he's better than Bogosian.

I've said "jack eichel" out loud so many times it doesn't even sound like anything anymore. About a 3rd of the time my brain defaults to Jake Eichman.

Never saw any when I was younger. The theme music is deeply rooted in my psyche, however. I must have watched a few episodes with my brothers and forgot.

I started watching the X-Files (the first season). David Duchovny is such a little baby man! I really liked the The Thing Episode (Ice (season 1 episode 8)). All the myth episodes are great, especially the one that ends with Fox talking about his sister's abduction. "The voice told me that she wouldn't be harmed, and that she'd be returned to Earth." "Do you believe that?" "I want to believe..."

Franson. Not anywhere near good enough offensively to make up for his wooden legs and awful defending.

I don't think the ASG is particularly taxing. All the partying might be... I hadn't even realized. That's neat. I don't have much to say about this game. Lehner and Eichman are good and Bylsma is driving me nuts.

I came to this conclusion last night, too. Myers is better. Amen. Some really good discussion after the game, gentlemen. Awesome stuff.

Haven't read the thread yet. That was a fun 3rd period. Why can't the rubes running the NHL understand how fun high scoring games are for the fans? -Tough game for Rasmus. He was trying to be too methodical, not enough chutzpah. -Bogosian played pretty bad, too. Several bad decisions from him all over the ice. Whether it was blindly trying to clear the puck out of his own zone when he had space, or taking the shot himself instead of giving it to Rasmus in space, yikes. -McCabe had a couple rough moments, but battled hard. Nice effort from him. -Eichel wasn't very good until the third. That was a sweet third period though. It's so nice to have a player with so much talent that he's dangerous any time he touches the puck, even during an off game. I've never seen anyone get a step-on-the-puck assist before. -Zemgus! Why did it take Bylsma so long to pair him with Eichman? -Speaking of Bylsma, he had the 4th line out there down by 2 with 6 minutes to go. Then he had the third line out there with 3 minutes left. WTF? -Johnson was Johnson. Couldn't help but think that Lehner might've gotten the pad down on Zuccarello's goal. -I love Mats Zuccarello. -Evander Kane is maddening. For every turnover he creates with his forechecking, there's 2 bad plays. The bad angle shots when he has a linemate wide open... ugh -Gionta is so much more fun to watch when he's in the right role. I'm glad that line finally got a goal, they've earned it. That said, last night wasn't one of their better games. -Larsson was quiet.

I didn't see the Wild game. But yes, I wish that interference was a penalty again. Even if one of our wonderful, dearest Sabres was the culprit. I'm not sure where this is going. Maybe ya gotta let whole trying to expose everyone with an opinion about hockey rules as a huge homer thing go.
