Not years - Saros has only 2 years remaining this is actually what makes him attractive as a trade possibility as he won’t be around if/when Levi is ready I love the idea of trading for Saros but I’m not giving up Savoie or Kulich. If they want pick #11 in this years draft, UPL and another mid tier prospect then - make the deal the other big question that I haven’t seen anyone answer is what other teams would be buyers ?? if Hart, demko and Saros are all available and only 2 teams willing to make a substantial offer then it’s a buyers marker and they can get one for a reasonable price

Not sure anyone needs to be fired BUT they do need to add a former NHL coach who excels in implementing defensive systems

As for what is best for Savoie and Kulich next year as yourself this. going into the 23/24 season, are Quinn and JJP better off playing with the Sabres this past season or would they have been better off in the AHL? if you say they will be better for having to play against NHL competition all season, then why wouldn’t this be true of Kulich? If he proves in training camp that he deserves a roster spot , he should get a roster spot

I think it’s more 1) goaltending 2) no defensive structure 3) no depth - team couldn’t withstand an injury to one of its Big 3 dmen. Injured Dahlin and “hitting the rookie wall” Power has compounded the issue extremely optimistic about next season if all 3 areas are addressed, no matter how bad this season ends for them
