  1. Warren I thought was really skating well the last few games i agree, unless Olkscbefki has an important role like penalty killer. Too slow in my opinion and really doesn’t dominate I’ll be surprised if he’s in the organization next season
  2. Is there a spot for him in the top 9? Maybe if they go back to 12f and 6D? With weissbach and Biro both out one thing I know Savoie is ready for is to play on the PP
  3. I assume he joins them ; don’t think he plays though…unless injuries start to pile up Tough to break up a winning squad
  4. From an advanced stats perspective, how does Hill compare to Helleybuyck?
  5. Kulich and Rousek have a shot. Next years Amerks will be loaded with prospects...not sure if there is a rule if there is a limit but the list is long ....
  6. I don't mind brining in Helleybuyck but it can't be too much of an overpayment for 1 year. I would be open to a 2024 lottery protected 1st but not the 13th overall pick in a loaded draft. Shame he doesn't have 2 or 3 years on the contract.
  7. I think Savoie will soon replace Skinner on PP1. He has incredible vision and skill in the bumper position He makes so many 1 quick, precise passes that leads to easy goals for teammates like Benson example from last night … https://twitter.com/chlhockey/status/1657556081021689857?s=46&t=6n2ONBbhmYwnQesFyKn49g
  8. Are you forgetting losing to Columbus and Montreal?
  9. When Marner signed his contract in 2019, He became the 3rd highest player in the league Was this a good contract to give out? Was he anywhere near that level then? How about now ? They made Mathew’s the 2nd highest paid player in the league in 2019 and then signed Tavares who was slow at 28, knowing the back half of the contract would be an anchor Both Matthews and Marner were coming off their ELCs Dahlin coming off his bridge big difference they also will have paid 3 guys over $11million Sabres have yet to pay anyone that amount
  10. He’s not playing ahead of Dahlin or Power
  11. I would say there is a big difference between $11 million and $7million He’s trying to do some serious math gymnastics
  12. Yep always look like champions in sept biggest mistake they made was paying Marner and Matthews before they won anything Or maybe it was brining in PJ boy, knowing it reduced their window of opportunity from 8 years to 3 or 4?
  13. Might have to add Eichel to the list who get better in playoffs
  14. Was about to write the same thing ! Acciari, Hill and Graves via free agency Hanifan (or Zadorov) and Lawson Crouse by trade draft Simashev or Willander bring back Jost and KO Lets roll!!! Skinner; Thompson Tuch JJP Cozens Quinn Savoie Mitts Crouse Krebs Acciari. Greenway KO. Jost ———- Samuelsson. Dahlin Power. Graves Hanifin. Lyubushkin Stillman. Joker Levi Hill Comrie
  15. . Leafs got shafted 😂 Complete loser mentality. Matthews , Marner and Tavares did absolutely nothing all series BUT the refs shafted them 🤷‍♂️
  16. So better by staying the course and letting the players grow. BUT you want to trade away a bunch of players and all draft picks for a guy they can only afford to pay 1 year? That’s drunk Tim Murray GMing
  17. For the sabres to move back to 20, anyone have the draft pick chart that shows what they should receive in return?
  18. I get it, thats why I 've always assumed that Savoie would start in Buffalo and Kulich in Rochester. Could you carry both to start the season and have them rotate, until Savoie goes to the World Juniors? For Kulich, whats the better plan back to Rochester? or part time with the Sabres?
  19. wait! i've listened to both today and I got mixed up....easy to do at 53! . It was Maintenance Day where they suggested it. Whats the AHL Rule? do you have to allocate a certain amount of your roster to Vets?
  20. Sabres Live hypothesized that with the amount of new prospects coming to Rochester that Kulich is already penciled into the Sabres 2023/24 roster
  21. The time you start trading away your draft picks is when you are legit Cup contenders. if they keep the pick, they still should expect to be a playoff team in 23/24. UFA Market, RFA market Trades: They can "weaponize" their cap space by acquiring players from teams in Cap Hell They have plenty of other draft picks available to trade round 2 through 7 Olofsson, Joker, UPL and Comrie, could be used as trade chips. Plus any current prospects not name Kulich or Savoie I hope they keep the pick BUT if they feel the best alternative to acquire a guy who can play in your top 4 , with term - then so be it. I trust their judgement over mine 🙂
  22. Yes, Reinbacher dropping to 13 would be a welcome miracle.
  23. 13. Buffalo Sabres: Colby Barlow, LW (Owen Sound, OHL) One of the best pure shooters in the draft, Barlow would be an excellent option for the Sabres’ top six. He’s coming off a whopping 46-goal season as an OHL sophomore and has 76 over the past two seasons, the most of any draft-eligible OHLer. There’s room for his all-around game to grow, especially in defensive activations, but scoring clearly isn’t an issue. from daily faceoff
  24. No no and no
