  1. I think that is completely fair
  2. Sorry if I’m repeating myself here he was injured last April, had surgery, missed training all summer , missed training camp, missed the start of the regular season Maybe wait until Oct to pass judgement. I know patience isn’t a virtue of a number of posters here
  3. They won last night in spite of getting outshot 49-21. I wanted the Sabres to trade for Chychrun but not at any cost
  4. Here is an easy question for you. What’s the record of the team that traded for Chychrun over the last 6 games ?
  5. Wow now that’s a statement. Besides giving up Savoie for Chychrun. What other moves would you have made to guarantee this playoff spot ? and no getting your doors blown off by Boston doesn’t change the perception. there is no way you are the guy who says “I’m just happy to be here “ after they lose all making the playoffs would do is delay your negativity for an extra day or 2
  6. Yep. Totally different player than what was in Minny prior to this season he had surgery last April and he missed the start of the season due to it im looking forward to him having an off season to train and get right hopefully we see the “old” greenway
  7. I think he’s done . Much like bringing in Stall a few years ago. Though the idea is solid
  8. You can find what you need in a trade without giving up your top 2 or 3 prospects. when was the last time a team gave up their top prospect in a trade ? Especially one as highly ranked as Kulich or Savoie there’s a chance that Kulich is a contributor to a playoff team as soon as next season You can get Saros if he’s available at all without giving up Kulich
  9. When you say use . Do you mean use them as trade bait? Or actually use them on the roster?
  10. Dahlin getting hurt feb 24th was the first hit Samuelsson getting hurt a game or two later was the kill shot
  11. Or handcuffing him to Bryson if his partner is out
  12. I took it as they wanted 2023 first and Savoie
  13. Omg. I’m agreeing with every one of your posts. Not sure that’s a good thing or not lol
  14. Glad you aren’t managing the team. You blow your whole load just trying to make the playoffs once The reality is that though no matter who they brought in they weren’t beating Boston That’s even if made the playoffs I hope you realize you don’t speak for every Sabres fan
  15. So they give up Savoie for Chrychrun plus this years first- They still are unlikely to make the playoffs with current goaltending if they did make the playoffs and quickly got disposed by the Bruins im betting the same posters are spewing the same rhetoric as they are today. it’s tiresome Of course, in 2 years when Chychrun leaves and Savoie and the first rounder and making contributions for another team. The same guys will be “I can’t believe they traded 2 first round players for a guy who bolted after 2 years”
  16. What draft pick did he not want to give up ? Shame this good post is followed up by 3 or 4 posts that are complete nonsense
  17. They did go after a top 4 Dman but the other team wanted Savoie or Kulich, plus they have gone after goalies but also wanted to be sure that Levi signed, so they had to be walk a fine line im guessing Adams took the big picture approach over adding a couple of pieces this season so that they might make the playoffs. Even if they did make it , any chance they beat the Bruins once ? Is that worth losing a prospect like Kulich or Savoie
  18. Think injuries hit them hard too. Actually still think they have some major injuries
  19. What possible deal is there that Adams would refuse to give ? Sabres are the only ones that can offer him a max contract as far as I know
  20. Sabres might be in a position to draft the top Dman. Admittedly I haven’t paid that much attention to prospects this year what’s your thoughts on the kid from Austria?
  21. I just can’t You know the difference between UFA and RFA?
  22. The Sabres season ended on Feb 28th vs the Panthers when Dahlin was cross-checked and hit his head on the cross bar. he missed the next couple of games and hasn’t been the same since Theyve had a couple of decent games since then but have only won 4 games including losses to Columbus and Philly and getting their doors blown off twice by Boston and once by Dallas I said early in the season that Dahlin was the guy they could least afford to lose followed by Thompson and Samuelsson having Dahlin playing hurt and Samuelsson out puts this teams defence at tank level. Add on the mediocre to abysmal goaltending …. Yikes
