Winnipeg has a lot of fans simply because there are a ton of people who don't want to see Vegas make it to the finals in their first year. I can't even imagine what kind of hype train NBC will subject us to if that happens.

Okay, you'll be lucky to have that trust after this season. That they did. They had a defense that broke the record for least points allowed in a season. They also went on to decline fairly well right after that since the defense couldn't hold them up anymore and their replacement QBs were terrible. So, you are correct, but supported by the best defense the NFL had ever seen at that time (in terms of points allowed). The Bills can't even come close to that.

It's not an accurate assessment. If you really want to dig down into it you can read about the Beer Judging Certification Guidelines, you'd find Style Category 28 "American Wild Ale" and Category 23 "European Sour Ales". There are sours that use Brettanomyces, Lactobacillus, etc. There are sours that use wild yeast that carry natural souring agents. And so on.. Categories being: Brett Beer Mixed-Fermentation Sour Beer Wild Specialty Beer BerlinerWeisse Flanders Red Ale Oud Bruin Lambic Gueuze Fruit Lambic It's not really. There categorizations in beer just as there are in other things. There are those who care more about them as well. However, that said, it's not pedantic to point out the different in sour ales and that they are not all intended to be blended with a syrup. It's educational and nothing more. It's not judgmental in any way. I'm never judgmental about it. It's a taste thing. If you want to mix a beer, go for it.
-
I believe this only applies to BerlinerWeisse. These days, breweries that make Berliners usually mix in the fruit flavor to begin with. The traditional BerlinerWeisse is given either red or green depending on which syrup you want.

You know, you are basically giving credit to the Bills for being lucky and not sucking as bad as other teams. They were anything but good this past season. They were an mediocre team that got by on a fluke play from the Bengals. That pass gets dropped or doesn't end up in the end zone and your tune on the Bills is that they were mediocre and missed the playoffs. How good were the Bills? They jettisoned their starting QB. No team that is GOOD, gets rid of their starting QB. When the Bills retreat back into 4-12 land this year what will be the attitude towards that team and their successful leadership?

The wheels come off eventually, just like in Chicago. Of course those teams have Cups to show for it as well. There may be a day when the Sabres fans get to feel the same way again. A few years, perhaps a championship and then... back to the bottom.

Ruby Red Kolsch.. it ain't a great Kolsch. It is a great summer/lawn mower beer.

Every team and fans response to you.

Each year we hear about these things and I have to wonder... do teams really not have ANY player that would be better in the lineup than icing a player with these kinds of injuries?

STH can redeem tickets for credits towards a Sabres store. So, now there's a trade-off. Sell your $6 seat or get some kind of credit for a purchase at that store. Whatever it will be. -
How is that relevant though? He was also selected to be the captain of Montreal. No small feat, even if he has small feet.

The current situation of the Sabres has nothing to do with the Bruins losing. The only time the Bruins losing is better than this is when it comes at the hands of the Sabres. Lick it or not, that's the way it is.

Of course, the Sabres are combating those cheap tickets by encouraging STH to NOT sell those tickets and instead invest them into the team and merchandise. Why sell your ticket for $6 when you can get $15 for it at the Sabres store? Be curious to see if this increases the amount of empty seats (because there are no seats to buy) or if it has no impact because there's only so much Sabres merch a person can have before $6 is $6 and $15 credit towards the jersey of the next guy to be traded is worth $0. -
So, is the "mopey" attitude based solely on his locker clean out presser? I don't think he's an overly outspoken guy. I have however seen him play irritated and put the team on his back at times. That's good enough for me. Oh.. and you get a pass (just a bit) for being under bourbon influence. :)

Far too emotional evaluation. There are guys in Vegas who gaffe. There are guys everywhere who do it. If ROR is the problem, he will be moved. However, he's a critical piece of the pie for any team. He's supremely talented. As I see it, for ROR to move another team is going to have to give up the house or take on Bogosian's salary and I don't know that the Sabres need to clear his numbers from the books right now.

I was going to say.... THIS! But was beaten to it. Can I make a request that this line of petty nonsense stop? There are a lot of kids who traumatized by acne when they are younger and do not have Eichel like status to overcome it. They are going read this and it's going to bother them, even if they are no longer kids. I know, I was one of them. Look... I admire your thinking, but you are being obtuse. There is only ONE. SINGLE. ANSWER. for where Rasmus spends his first year. That's with MODO... because MODO's coming back and he's bring some pannys and hockey players with him!
-
Whatever the hell that is... it should not be... right? I found it repulsive such a statement would be made. All the grief Terry got when he said something about the BN not liking the Sabres... perhaps there's something there and we've been living through it. That kind of tweet certainly makes it appear that Brandon had high favor with the BN. Sad.

Yes, as is everything. Let's not get into a prolonged color theory discussion though. First we have to decide if we are talking additive light or subtractive light. Then we have to decide if we want to define the color we see by its wavelength only since the concept of "color" doesn't work. Everyone's brain is responsible for turning the electrical signal generated by optic nerve in response to the reception of the blue light wave but it doesn't mean we all see the same "color". Okay.. I'm done.

So, if I am reading that correctly. This is the Buffalo News, tweeting a Bucky Gleason thought? Is that right? I mean, just wow.
-
Ahh, well you got a good job. I know Constellation Brands hands some stuff out once in awhile and Genny workers get some beer. Just curious more than anything. I guess since it's going elsewhere it's really not theirs to give away.
-
If there's toxicity in the locker room I would almost be assured that they will move that person out this year. It's full forward now. If it's ROR, he'll be gone. If it's Risto, he'll be gone. If it's Eichel....... well... then I think you have to move him. I just don't think it's him.

Okay. I guess I just read it as there are already women owners and such, so it's not ground breaking. She does have a ton on her plate. Hmm, I thought I had remembered hearing of more. I honestly didn't go looking around. The headline just felt somehow insulting to Kim Pegula, I don't know why. I appreciate the insight from both of you and it's changed my perception of it. Part of me just hates calling out things like sex or skin color or things that in my view really don't matter to what a person is capable of doing. I feel it's like arguing over red or green flannel.

Ahhh nice. That's cool. Be a hero to the marketing team. There is a typo on the page. Last paragraph.. "Services LiDestri Spirits Division offers all the resources needed to produced top-notch spirits—excellent service, intelligent research, top technology—all under one roof. Read more " For whatever reason, typos like that pop out at me... even just scanning a page. Do you get samples as part of being there?

Well, he's also more likely to learn some new things from Dahlin that will help his game. Being around better players makes you a better player. Anyone making it to this level has a general drive to perform and when the people around you start to perform better there is a natural inclination to step up your work and keep up. It's a positive building process. For whatever reason, I feel that the Sabres future outlook is not viewed as negatively by other players as it is by many fans. I know I feel that this team is poised to make a massive turn around next season.
