I think VO is a sunk cost and Adams needs to not succumb to the sunk cost fallacy. If he's already benched by game 3 and given his history it's hard to see him working his way back into the line-up consistently. When the next forward gets hurt do you want to see VO go back in, or call up Rousek or Biro or Kulich or Rosen? Any of the AHL guys are better options. If he can't garner a 7th round pick or whatever, just waive him. OK, two dudes thinking the same thing at the same time...and then posting on it. (see my post above)

An intriguing idea, but I think it potentially creates a locker room dynamics problems when one is playing noticeably better than the other one or they are both playing well, etc. Does the platoon continue even if performance is uneven between the two? Is it a zero sum game where one player takes playing time from the other as opposed to the "best 12 forwards" approach? If so that creates a difficult dynamic. If one of them sits for an extended period of time development is stunted.

I thought Kincaid looked good, for a rookie, in weeks 1 and 2. Last week was a dud in that respect, but they won by 34 points so it's hard to get riled up. Probably need to give this a little time. Also, the Bernard pick last year is looking like a winner for replacing Edmunds. But we can give that some more time too.
