Seems likely that Ottawa screwing up the Dadonov trade to Vegas and having it subsequently costing them a first round pick was a straw-that-broke-the camel's-back moment for the new Ottawa ownership relative to Dorion, or simply a good catalyst to replace him as they may have wanted to do anyway. Something like that. No way these two events being announced on the same day are a coincidence.

Back in the day, watching a basketball game in the Gallagher Center at NU was an excellent experience. I haven't been there in decades.

Cornell is big-time D1. Wonderful old barn to watch a game.

Elias Pettersson is such a sniper. Impressive.

Another one is RIT hockey. Niagara and Canisius are in the same D1 conference but I haven't attended any games there. RIT has a nice arena and has had some good teams recently.

UB Basketball has been good in recent years but not sure about this year. But the atmosphere in the Reilly Center, when the students are in attendance is just excellent. Not quite as much during the break but it's still pretty good.

I'm off to Chiefs-Broncos game. My first time to Empower. Get em' home boys!

The main reason it was so close was McDermott. Playing scared all the way. And his record on calling TO on defense before a critical play is atrocious. 24 yard TD this time. Does it not occur to him that the other team simply calls a different play?

I realize it could have happened regardless, but it's so annoying that they played Levi four straight games to start the season and he ends up with an LBI.

Veteran play by Zemgus. So glad we have those older guys to show the way.

Reminds me of the Bills

Tarasenko, who the Sabres should have signed IMO (if he would have agreed, which of course he might not have) has 2 goals and 4 assists and is +4 in 5 games. But we’re rolling VO out there instead.
