Now this, THIS is a big test. How they play tonight will go a looong way in many fans eyes. I pray they will not be content with last night and come out tonight with as much determination to change the whole narrative on this team as they did last night. Use the Dahlin hit for motivation if need be. Not sure what goaltending will look like but figure it out fast.

tomorrow night is going to be a very important game because it will be interesting to see if this team is actually capable of putting in two really nice wins together with their backs up against the wall

What am I missing about Dahlin? So much hype and I guess I was just expecting highlight reels every night.

I'll tell you, that was one of the top 10 best atmospheres I have ever been to in my sports life. I have no idea how that place sounded so loud with 6,700 fans but I know my voice is still gone. It seriously felt like we HAD to create noise from start to finish and everyone just gave it everything they had.

I honestly never thought I could care less about a Buffalo sports team as I did about the Sabres last year. They have managed to become even more unlikeable already. Jack Eichel cannot be captain of this team as he does not have any of the attributes you need to lead a team. Our head coach is actually in the wrong sport, and there is zero, and I mean ZERO toughness on this team. Not only does it seem possible that this group will ever make the playoffs, it feels like they are incapable of winning a game. I think they end up with a top 3 pick, trade Eichel and anyone else who can't shake the losing, and start over with a coach that doesn't actually say he will not be coaching during the game.

Once rgeir regular season ends, they have to blow this whole thing up and start from scratch. Eichel will demand a trade which will happen, they trade Hall at deadline and build around Dahlin, Cousins and Quinn. Everyone else has to go

Jack is not even in the same universe as Connor and Dahlin doesn't impress

The problem with this team is that they can pay a perfect period And still come out losing after 20 minutes. In my opinion, that is a sign of a bottom dweller.

0-5 start, here we come. And we all know how well the season ends after slow starts. I just don't see how they can find a win vs Caps and Philly. This division is brutal and it's Buffalo, NJ and NY who will pay dearly.
