It’s very fitting that the bills and dolphins playoff game is being shown on NFL network right now. This hockey game is way closer than it should be.

Sabres are clearly the better team and are playing a nice game but I just don’t get why they give up so many golden opportunities

I am pretty sure this coach has taken them as far as he can. The Sabres have been figured out and there do not seem to be any adjustments. There will be some coaches fired at the end of the year so there should be some decent options.

Thankfully only 1 more game at home. I had 4 lower level center ice tickets and 10 different people turned down free tickets. I finally gave them to my cleaning person. back to the library atmosphere I fear for the 2nd half of the season, ugh

All the goals by opponents are the same. Take any shot you want, from anywhere on the ice and crowd the net. Meanwhile, the Sabres have to dance in circles just to come up with a scoring chance.

This is most likely true, unfortunately. It took over 3 months, but I believe the top 8 spots are finally set and it’s looking up at Pittsburgh the rest of the way. it’s painful for me to acknowledge but it’s gonna take 1 final offseason to get over the hump.

This is exactly right. This defense is just dreadful and I really hope management makes a big trade sometime soon. There’s no reason to wait until next year once again
