The tiniest hope of saving the season will be determined tomorrow night. If they win, they will hold on to me for a bit longer. If they lose, the season is 1,000% over and that will be the last Sabres game I watch. The next hockey game I will most likely see will be the final night of the regular season (if there is a team that is win and in) or the first round of the playoffs.

Obviously, this will never happen, but if I am Pegula, I tell Don that you beat Tampa or your job is on the line. Let’s see how the team reacts when the season is on the line tomorrow night.

I can’t believe anyone in their right freaking mind can possibly say this coach deserves to stay one more day. How stupid can one person be at the end of the game?

If they can SOMEHOW get past Florida, Tampa and Winnipeg, things might actually get interesting. That is a very tall order but man, that game 2 nights ago really woke me up. When they tied it at 2-2, it was the most excited I have been all season.

If the Sabres go 7-4-1 over their next 12 games, they will have more points than last year at the 70 game mark.

It would not change my view at all. A 4 game win streak when they are 10 points out of 8th would not move the needle. All this has proven to me is that they MAY have a #1 goalie. A MAJOR trade or 2 has got to happen and I don't see Adams as they guy that can get it done. As far as coaching, IF they were to continue to play like they did 2 nights ago (win or lose) the rest of the season, I would give it a thought. The fact that I see that performance once every 10 games is sickening though. Something is very wrong with coaching to only see glimpses of what they are capable of in the effort department.

This is the most interesting game of the year for me. If they win tonight, there COULD be reason to believe.

Philly was always the team I thought we would have a chance of catching. Now that they are in 8th, and on a 2 game slide, we need to hope the slide continues...

Just received and email talking about new video board and new roof. The one line that caught my eye was this quote..."we are determined to build a playoff team." HA, so much for a Stanley Cup contender. Even they know how far off they still are. Anyway, other items mentioned how disappointed they are in the season and blah, blah blah. They better put the logo on that roof...

Well, gosh darn, that was fun for the first time in quite a while!
