Big win by our Sabes last night. A chance to win where Jack wants to show that he is not 3rd in line when it comes to McDavid, Matthews and himself. Playoffs may be a long shot but their first back to back wins against teams like the Penguins and Leafs would feel pretty good. Never thought I would start a game day thread but I'll be jumping in the car in about 7 hours to head there....should not have had that last Old Fashioned tonight...worth it though. I may get down on this team form time to time but for the love of Baby Jesus, I will be there with the Sabes Blazer and representing in full force. Toronto, here we come and we are not holding back on expenses in the slightest. Time to hit that city proper and leave it in a mound of ashes come Sunday morning. I love this stupid team and it's time to leave a mark here boys. Good night, God bless, and.........

I hope they lose tonight so at least they won't get completely destroyed when I am at the game in Toronto tomorrow. Obviously if they win tonight, they are going to get smoked tomorrow. It just seems that this is how this team operates unfortunately.

My 4 would be Jack, Skinner, Reino and Mittle when ready but E-rod right now

Hopefully Vancouver can win tonight to settle the Sabres closer to the #7 pick in draft. It's possible Buffalo could drop further but I don't see the 6 worst teams catching up to Buffalo at this point.

Why does that lineup look worse and worse every practice report I read.....Jesus, this team really needs A LOT of work. We have 4 guys on offense that would make a Stanley Cup roster.

I still think Tage will get to where he needs to be but this is exactly why the Blues did not hesitate on the ROR deal. They knew he was a couple years away and they needed a center immediately. Time will tell I guess

They could actually try and get the crowd involved once every 10 years. The most obvious thing to do would be bringing back Sabres on the Warpath chant. Put a video together from the 70s where this chant was incredible.

The Sabres marketing department is as stupid and out of touch as the team itself. They have no pulse on the fans and the only thing they know how to do is play ***** music as loud as they can to fill the silence that has been in that building for over 8 years. Now that the year is over again, I plan on selling the rest of my games because it is more a waste of time than anything else.

Get the Skinner signing done and then they can fall as far as they want for all I care. I have been saying for over a month that we end up picking number 7 which would land us a solid player in the draft. Hopefully by April 2020 we will still be watching these games with interest of the #8 seed....that's really all I want as I am so sick of this team not even being in the playoff conversation. I don't get it, Islanders lose Tavares and Carolina loses Skinner, and both teams are crushing it right now. How the hell does Philly even have a better record than us? Montreal blew by us as well and here we sit, looking equally as bad as the tank years....even worse since end of November. Something is very, very wrong

The sad thing is that I don't think a 10 game win streak right now would even get them into the playoffs

Montreal and Carolina will both win tonight so even 1 point tonight will do nothing. A win will most likely keep them 6 back still sooooooo......figure it out!

Yup, this really is the true MUST WIN game of the season. I think they beat Toronto on Saturday (mostly because I will be there)and Pitt at home on Friday will be a doozy. Now or never boys, now or never....

Not being over dramatic but if they lose tonight, i truly feel playoffs are shot once and for all. Can they save the season? Dropping 8 points out of 8th would be the nail in the coffin. I hope they can survive into the weekend....

Not winning won back-to-back games in nearly three months is still totally unacceptable. Is this team better than last year? Yes, but my God, that was one of the worst teams in the history of the NHL. This team has more Talent than they are showing on the ice and with back-to-back games coming up against Pittsburgh and Toronto this weekend, the trend of being a 500 team is sure to continue. With their playoff lives on the line, I expect more, way more out of this group.

Well they used all of their energy for the next week in the first period so that does not bode well for tomorrow

I wish they would just start a fight to set the stage for something on Saturday
